We’re having our first snow of the season. Both kids are super excited!

I’m annoyed at Target. I want the Thomas coaster thing so I went to order it and you get “free shipping,” but they charge a $20 handling fee! No option to buy in store or ship to store. So much for the red card getting me free shipping.

Mine were sooo bad after H. They finally got better when he got closer to 2. They’re still not awesome but a lot better than they were. I hope yours improve too!

It's Canadian thanksgiving today!! Everyone is at work or school so I've been able to prep and clean everything in peace! Since it's just the 4 of us we're only having turkey, stuffing, gravy, carrots, potatoes and I made Mac and cheese for Alexander who doesn't like cooked veggies or gravy and won't eat much turkey. I usually make H an apple pie but I was at Sam's club this morning and I could get a huge one for $7, I can't make it for that and they are similar to mine so I bought it. I am so excited to eat tonight!

I’m off work today for Columbus Day but the kids have school! I went to the gym and getting a pedicure now. This is fabulous! I think I want to be a stay at home mom now that they are in school 😂

I ordered luggage 3 weeks ago for our trip and it's still not here

I just filed a claim with amazon but now the new luggage won't arrive until some time Wednesday if at all and we leave at 3am thirsday

Nothing will be open at 9pm for me to go quickly and buy luggage at that point

Stupid things to worry about but I ordered 3 weeks I. Advance!

A had her conference tonight. I am shocked how much she’s learned! I was concerned when she started, she could only write 4 letters, 2 numbers and could recognize maybe half the capital letters. She now knows all her letters, can write every single one capital and lowercase, and can write all the numbers to 25!

I'm so jealous! It's 86 degrees currently. At 8pm in October. I want a fall dadgummit! We are at least getting a cool front tonight! High tomorrow in the 70s! #FallinTexas

teamhayes That's so annoying. I would have expected it to arrive in 3 weeks too. Do you have Prime? Even if you didn't choose 2-day, it shouldn't have taken 3 weeks!

Don't wait until the night before. I would buy some luggage now and return the stuff you ordered. No sense in trying to pack it all the night before you leave.
