We are supposed to leave for Napa on Saturday for a week. Given the wildfires and current state of emergency, no idea if we will be able to get there. We are supposed to fly in and out of San Fran. If we can't safely get to Napa, any suggestions of relaxing places we can go, that we can book a few days in advance?
Anywhere along the coast there is beautiful. I'll do a little research and see what's closed, either due to wildfires or because of damage from the rain (like the bridge to Big Sur). I need to check where the wildfires are. The good news is that there are lots of relaxing places in Northern CA.
You can always re-route your flights here!
Edited to take out suggestions because OMG these fires are horrific.
So sad to hear about the devastation from these fires.
Half Moon Bay is beautiful and relaxing. You could even go as far south as Santa Cruz. There are Redwood forests, state parks, and spas. Which, honestly, is kind of a dream relaxing vacation for me so I'm biased. Northern CA is gorgeous and anywhere along the coast would be a great place. Somewhere, though I think it's maybe in Big Sur, there's a hotel where you can rent yurts instead of rooms.
