I almost titled this thread "Wed Whatevers". No such luck! 

The neighbors seem to be getting a new roof today - the dogs are going crazy with all the noise. Should be a fun day! 

I just made doggie boarding reservations for December for our wedding/honeymoon. ::Pats self on back for not waiting until too late for Christmastime reservations::

And I had my hair and (partial) makeup trial last night and loved it. We really just did eyes and blush last night - didn't bother with foundation/concealer/contour/highlight/etc (err, my friend/stylist didn't book or charge me for the makeup trial - she just snuck it all in on the salon's book with my cut and updo trial). The lip color we used isn't what I wanted (a raspberry red), but neither of us had the right color handy, so oh darn - we'll have to go on a Sephora spree to find the right color. And she agreed with me on my favorite of the 3 pairs of earrings I brought with me, so that was a win, too.

I'm good here. Going back to dance this week, period. It's been too long and I really miss it. I'll do my best but I don't think *not* going will help my brain any. I am trying to reduce the number of commitments on my schedule, so hopefully that helps with my stress and will also help with my brain function. That's pretty much it over here today, so far.

P and I talked last night and we decided to just bail on the whole trip if we don't go to Napa. I did reach out to the woman from the Airbnb and she is safe, which is good. But, my concern is that 1) they are still under a state of emergency 2) we are staying 3 miles west of Signorello Winery, which burned to the freaking ground and 3) they still don't have these fires contained. Am I a total jerk if I reach out to this woman and ask her to cancel us and do a 100% refund? Or would you wait a day or two and see what happens?

I have been fighting a head cold for two days now and I am over it.

Last night the temps dropped to the low 30s so I woke up to a very chilly house. But that also meant I had a super snuggly kitty next to me.

I am off today and have a hair appointment in an hour, a nice nap planned after that and then dinner and drinks with two good friends tonight.

Nice job on the doggie boarding reservations.  My last vacation that was planned like 4 months in advance, I made the  mistake of waiting until the last minute to book boarding for my cat and of course my usual place was full.  I had to scramble to find somewhere and it caused me so much unneeded stress.  SO good for you!!!

I think this workout routine has really been amazing in helping me get over the break up (lol because I've done three classes and a home video) but I think it's giving me such positive endorphins and preventing me from just sitting at home wallowing with wine.

This weekend is my mom's birthday so I'm planning a little BBQ for her and my uncles. It will be small but should be fun. Today I'm leaving work early to get my hair done. Yay! it's way over due. I'm trying to figure out if I should do something new or not. I think I'm going with not.

Thanks guys! I love how the hair came out - I always worry because my hair is so fine, but she got it all fluffed up and it looks like I have more than 10 hairs on my head, LOL.

Not much going on here. I am stupidly sore from my personal training session yesterday. I'm also trying to decide if it's worth it to book 2 extraneous trips before 2018 to maintain my status on American Airlines. I just got status on United from work trips, but DH and I usually fly American for personal stuff, since he has their credit card and I've had status in the past. Part of me wants to say "eff it" and just switch loyalties, but Idk.

I am trying to not wallow. I'm still sad about that stupid party and I really don't like myself for it. There's likely a good reason for it and I have no real claim there, so I'm just a bundle of mixed emotions today. I am trying really hard to not let it bleed out into anything.

I dragged myself into the office today but didn't get here until noon. I mean, I worked at home this morning but I was in pjs. I only came in because I thought there would be a lot of people here today and there is almost no one. What a waste of a shower.

Tonight is This is Us. My two neighbor friends and I have started a tradition of watching it together so I'm excited for that.

We just officially cancelled our trip. The woman who we were staying with was sympathetic and we got a full refund. I'm hoping I can get a similarly sympathetic person at the airline.

Okay that’s fine I can leave. No biggie. I don’t really get the hate for RV really. She was generic tons of women who post here BEGGED her to name names and she didn’t. But that’s fine. I’ll take the fall in this one because she is my friend in real life. I wasn’t really involved except to try and clarify some outrageous claims that were incorrect about her. Thanks to all of you ladies who have been so nice and supportive!
