We have 5 days/4 nights in Europe in November (over Thanksgiving). Our original plans were cancelled so I’m thinking about doing Paris/Normandy/Disneyland Paris. Has anyone been? Is it worth it? We have WDW plans for Nov/Dec 2018.
My boys will be almost 5 and almost 7 if we went I. November (so this is kind of their birthday present). And would we be nuts to go on Thanksgiving itself? Thanks!
I don't think it's enough time, honestly. The last time we were in France we had 2 weeks and still didn't go to DLP. We started our trip with Versailles then 2 nights doing Normandy & Mont St. Michel. At the end of our trip we had 4 nights in Paris and I wished we had longer.
^ agreed. You could drop Normandy and do 3 days in Paris, 1 in Versailles, and 1 at DLP. I know some people will balk at going to Disney instead of some other place in France, but my favorite trips with the kids are the ones where we mostly did what I wanted and then took a day just for the kids. I always put theme parks last so that I could use it as motivation for good behavior. I’ve never been to DLP but we went to all the other ones overseas and had a great time.
We went in July. Spent one day did both parks. Honestly it wasn’t that busy. I think the longest line we waited in was 30 minutes. My son turned 7 while we were in France and we thought it was a great way to celebrate. The castle is amazing. Take the rer to get there from Paris. It took about 45 minutes. In my opinion it’s not as amazing as Disneyland but I’m so glad we did it!
