I've never had this happen- I have way too much money in my pretax health account- like a thousand bucks and I've already hit our out of pocket max for prescriptions. I'll have to stock up on contacts. Have you had luck using HSA for tutoring? I see "Dyslexia" on the list. DS doesn't have a medically-diagnosed learning disability, although his psychiatrist agreed he most likely has dysgraphia. Can she "prescribe" tutoring so that I can use funds? Or anything else- like a weighted blanket? Or does it have to come from an OT?
Anything else child or ASD related I'm forgetting that I can use funds for?
Keep in mind that HSA funds don't disappear at the end of the year like the other type that I am forgetting the name of at the moment, so you don't have to squeeze in their use if you don't want to.
