I'm home with a sick kiddo today. He started throwing up at 3am. In our bed. Almost in my hair. He hasn't gotten sick since I picked him up from MIL when I went into work for a bit.
I'm guessing we will have a really low key weekend catching up from vacation. We need groceries bad!

I would give my right arm for a low key weekend. We've done nothing but go go go for the last 4 weekends straight. Instead, we're going to my niece's birthday on Sunday, which involves an overnight stay at my sister's house on Saturday night.
Poor guy erinshelley21. Hope he feels better and no one else gets it.
No huge plans this weekend. Gymnastics tomorrow morning, work at our rental for a bit after and 1 maybe 2 showings. DH has floor hockey Sunday morning and then we'll go to the pumpkin patch and corn maze with my sister. Hoping to do some purging and organizing at home. The toy bomb from DS's birthday still hasn't been dealt with.
I'm so ready for this weekend! Getting my hair cut tomorrow, then headed to a low key birthday party. So far Sunday only involves sitting on my butt watching football, folding a bunch of laundry, and packing for Punta Cana. I fly out stupid early on Monday for my "check out all the resorts" trip!
Random: My work is offering a Weight Watchers program on site for a really good price, with a reimbursement. I kind of want to sign up, but I feel like an asshole about it since I don't really look like I need to lose weight and I only have like 10 pounds to lose anyway. I tried doing it just online, but need some more accountability than that. But I don't want to be self conscious and anxious in a meeting at work, so I probably won't do it.
After the gym I have zero plans beyond dropping DD at the football game with friends. Sooo excited. Frozen pizza. Can't wait.
Saturday I am picking up my mom to spend the day with us - DD's game (30 mins away), lunch, DS' game and a birthday party (DD) then two sleepovers (both DDs) while DS has a sitter and DH and I go to a 40th at a giant new bar.
Sunday early service DD plays handbells in church for the first time. Errands for the duration
FFFC- for the third time in a year DH's collegiate daughter went to the ER for something idiotic. This time, she stubbed her toe. Seriously. The ER!! I told him he HAS TO paint a picture for her. Doctor, X-rays and cast for DD's legit broken hand - $50. Her toe thing? $428 and climbing. They buddy taped it. It isn't even broken. She stubbed her toe!! I'm so frustrated. Mostly at the idiocy and flagrant disregard for the extreme expense - coupled with the dynamic that DH would rather pay a million dollars than tell her that she could have maybe possibly made different not awful choices.
twinmomma - sign up!! I sign up for the individual challenges at the gym and they are so motivating. Those last ten pounds are sooo hard and support is key. When I dropped the last five in the spring challenge the owner of the gym was like - this one pound a week for 10 weeks thing you did is HARD. People are losing 50 pounds but they aren't working as hard because they still have more to lose. There's so little room for indulgence for those last ten -- his perspective motivated me so much. I think you will find something similar with WW.
2chatter, I'm going to see how my physical goes in a couple weeks, and then decide. The new session starts next month, so I have time. I may have some thyroid issues and/or celiac issues going on, which would have a big impact on weight gain and dietary restrictions, so I need to nail that down first. But either way, I need to stop with the ordering junk for lunch and eating donuts for breakfast. That's not helping, whether my thyroid is out of wack or not.
I've been having a lot of back pain and discomfort so maybe baby is coming this weekend!? By 5pm, my lower back and pelvis hurts so bad that it's hard to walk. DD2 came three weeks early so it's definitely possible. My mom volunteered to come watch the girls for a bit this weekend so I'm hoping I can relax. Usually when she comes over I'm entertaining her and the kids. It's Friday the 13th so we're going to do pizza, scary movie and popcorn tonight. Tomorrow night, DD1 has a Pumpkin Walk and scavenger hunt at school. Watching football on Sunday along with laundry and making a baby blanket.

We're really over scheduled also. Gymnastics and soccer tomorrow, then Sunday is a playdate with a friend of mine who moved across town, followed by two different parties, DS going to one, DD going to the other. Too. Much. Stuff.

Random: Does anyone know what $5VIP is? I think it's a MLM company but I'm not sure. Someone from HS friended me on FB just so she could add me to her group. I removed myself because it just looks like crap she's selling for $5 plus high shipping fees. She re-added me today so I think I permanently removed myself from the group. I may have to unfriend her.
So today I have finally have an entire clean house. I have vacuumed everywhere including stairs, couches, and under couches. Attacked my shower with a toothbrush, washed all the bedding, and cleaned the kitchen. I also took the kids for their flu shots since they are off today and our ped office thinks that 9-4 is convenient for a walk in clinic.
Tonight, hanging out with friends to kick off basketball season. Tomorrow we need to go shopping for our camping trip next weekend and maybe to a friend's cabin. Not sure on that one.
Sunday, since I have a clean house for now, I am hoping the kids and I can curl up and watch some scary shows that I taped. Dh is working, again.
I ended up taking off early today to go to chiropractor, which I'm now doing after every trip or two. Getting old really bites.
Also took DS to get a haircut since our downstairs toilet broke. Originally, DH was taking DS. DH was planning on getting the plumber out, but they couldn't send anyone until Monday. He managed to fix it himself. So yay!
After the hair cut, we went to Joann's and got Halloween decorations. The remainder of the afternoon involved doing crafts.
Tomorrow DD cheers at a flag football game at 9:00. After that, we are completely open! Yay!
The plans WERE: Drive from Myrtle Beach to Knoxville Friday, stay with MIL Fri night, go to nephew's wedding Sat eve, drive home Sunday. However, MIL reminded me (she told me before but I did not process it) that her niece and greatniece were coming to stay Fri night. I said screw that and drove home last night. Almost 13 hours in the car and DD was not pleased to change plans but we made it! I have had 2 people up my butt all week and not 5 minutes alone so I could not bear another 2 days of it. Now I am enjoying a nice lonely bath . I think I will have lunch with DH and DD and then go to a movie alone or something. Yay! Unfortunately DH dropped DD's "phone" (iPod touch) and shattered the screen last night so we will have to fight the Geniuses at the Apple Store tomorrow. Sigh.
Today I went to the gym to talk about having a trainer work with me on form. It's so expensive though I just can't justify it right now.
Soccer, errands/returns and out to lunch. We are JUST getting home at 3 and I have s bunch of housework to do. H is going to wash, wax, and cover the camper. I see a nap in my future.
Tomorrow 10 miler and maybe pumpkin patch. My half marathon is next Saturday and my stomach is already gurgly thinking about it.

Last night DS said his ear was bothering him ... same story this morning, so I took him to the dr's office where they ended up irrigating it and holy heck I've never seen so much ear wax at one time.
At least it wasn't a wasted trip.
Now watching him not follow instructions at gym class. What a goof.
Clothes shopping after lunch. Then phone calls to grandparents.
So I was getting stuff ready to go to our festival when DS puked all over the floor. Scratch my plans; we're doing laundry and staying in all weekend, and crossing our fingers it was a one time thing since little guy was begging for food 3 hours later. Yeesh.

I was planning on OT tonight and DH got a babysitter because he wanted to help his friend. Now it looks like my OT will be cancelled, so I'm trying to decide if I should take advantage of the babysitter and do my own thing or just take the babysitter home when I get home (it would only be about an hour of babysitting for her).
DH and I are just back from our very first plane-ride two-night weekend away without kids. Long overdue as the kids are 8 and 4.5. I got to go to a spa for a massage, we ate great food, worked out, and went to a fabulous wedding. I'm feeling exhausted, but relaxed!!
It raining all day Sat. We went out to breakfast and to the liquor store. We have a huge beer/wine/liquor store here. Then the rain broke for a second so out to fall festival (indoors). They were mostly packing up so the kids grabbed some suckers and I bought some gourds and "decorated" the mantle. Then out to dinner which was a nice place. H took care of the roomba today and made breakfast.
I have to work this afternoon, I don't really want to because DS has his Bobcat ceremony for Boy Scouts this afternoon. I at least got DD showered and DS did his PT both days. Sometimes he is great and sometimes his attention and willingness is lacking, and he goofs off. Combined with DD demanding stuff while he exercises- it drives me crazy. Now sipping my tea while the kids are playing upstairs.
