I've got a lot of work to finish for a contract by 10/31 and I've been slacking so all my non-kid free time is working.
The school book fair starts this week and they're having a neat family program where you can go to the book fair in the evening and then read "under the stars" in the gym with a flashlight and have snacks.
W has W, Th and F off school, so I have taken those days off too. we were initially going to try to visit my sister in FL, but flights were too expensive. The weather should be nice, so we'll have to figure out some outdoor stuff to do.
A is off school today and the ILs are here until tomorrow. I then realized I volunteered to help for A’s Halloween Party so I need to help come up with craft and activities ideas and help put together them.
Then H has a hearing test Wednesday, I hope he cooperates and can hear fine.
I had to present to several large groups this afternoon and I was too nervous to eat lunch so now I have a headache, but it's done done done!!! :::insert running man gif here:::
I'm making my grandmother's chocolate cake recipe for mine and a co-worker's birthday this week. I haven't made it in a while and it might as well be fudge, but I had to ask what oleo was the first time I made it.

Speaking of free shutterfly stuff, if anyone wants some free stuff, my husband has sooooo much free stuff he can order (employee credits), but we have no use for any of it and it expires at the end of this month. Feel free to message me on here or FB if you want to know what he has left. Only catch is to pay shipping.
I found out Friday that I have to travel to Belgium for a week for work - leaving Sunday. I’m freaking out about leaving my kids and about my H keeping up with everything by himself.

Oh wow! That would be hard but also totally awesome! I want to go there someday. Will you get to do any touristy stuff?
I’m not sure yet. Meetings during the day (not fun ones) but I’m going over with our CEO. I have never been out of the country other than Mexico or Jamaica for vacation so this will be a total different experience. I’ve never left my kids for more than 3 days.
Eeeesh. I forgot how involved my grandmother's recipe is...I kind of wish I had cheated and used a mix since it's all about the icing anyway. It's so so rich, but so so good!
blane12 - I'm sure it's exciting and stressful all rolled into one! I hope you're able to squeeze in a little sightseeing.
H has turned his sleep sack into a lovey and is carrying it around everywhere. It’s funny and cute. A never had a lovey or toy she became attached to so it’s cute for now lol.

We moved C to a fleece sleepsac for winter and she is now using her old sleepsac (blue cotton with dogs) as a lovie. It's so cute and weird. Toddlers are bizarre creatures, lol.
