I'm sorry you have to have it, but mine was super easy. I had a few polyps that needed to be removed and it was my first time under anesthesia, so I was worried, but the pain was not worse than period cramping for me.

I don't know exactly the right way to phrase this, but I am hopeful that this new information will result in better outcomes for you! I don't have any personal experiences with it, though.

Oh this is good to hear! Did you go back to work the next day?

Actually, this is good news for me! I was so worried they'd be all "shrug, don't know what's wrong with you," and then we'd be just as lost. I'm getting this surgery done, starting clomid, and then possibly an IUI in December, should we chose to do so.

Sometimes having an answer is a really good thing! Even if it means something is "wrong" in this case it sounds like a fixable thing, and that's the ideal!
I don’t go here, but am a surrogate, so just went through IVF. I had this procedure done in April. Honestly, the worst part was throat and neck pain from the intubation, and pain in my shoulders from gas bubbles (they said). I never had much pain at the little incision sites.
I saw you mentioning going back to work. I work from home part time, and I tried to work the next day, and was mostly successful. I would probably take at least the next day off if it was me.

Let me know if you have any other questions!
Good to know, thank you! My DH is out of town that day, and my mom is planning on coming to take care of D. I'll take the next day off, thank you!

IIRC you're a teacher, right? I'm 99% sure I did mine on MLK day, which we had off, and was back to work like normal the next day. The worst part for me was the anesthesia, but if you can take a day or schedule it for a Friday, I might do that.

I really hope this helps you! I had a series of hysteroscopies in 2015 - one in the OR and 3 in the office. I had a lot of scar tissue plus there was a small piece of bone from my first baby. My doctor was amazing and really cleaned me out....after 2 years of TTC with no luck, I then got pregnant my next cycle and 2 out of the next 3 total (one m/c, one DS)
Anyway....the procedure itself & recovery weren't too bad! I don't remember a whole lot, I think we just kind of hung out the rest of that day and I was feeling pretty decent by the next day, but I also WFH so I was able to take it easy....if you can swing the next day off I would do it just so you're not pushing it.
