1. It went well. I finished my work outs for my 30 days. I only missed two due to long drive days and exhausted, but I did make sure I stretched on those two days so I am counting them!
2. I am going to try and keep up the everyday workout routine. still running with a mix of strength. I have decided that when i get out of the Guard I am going transition from mostly running to maybe two run days, two bike days and two swim days. My joints hurt.
3. um. I have got to start meal planning again.
4. Finished my 30 days!!!
Bonus: I love tattoos. I am not a fan of sleeves on most people, but some can definitely pull it off. I have one tattoo and I really want one more, but that probably won't be a happening for a few more years.

I am sorry I didn't get to this last week I was on vacation and it might have slipped my mind.
1. How did last week go? Good. My run pace is away up but my road biking is non existent as I just don't have time anymore. The stationary bike is a poor substitute so...the triathlon I'm doing in a couple weeks should be kind of dicey.
2. What are your work out goals for the week? Number? Type? Same as usual.
3. What are your food goals for the week? My food intake has improved...except I still am eating stuff I shouldn't, especially on the weekends. I need to batten down the hatches.
4. Any non-scale victories? I ran 10 miles at an average of 10 min mile (with all the miles in the middle being at 9:30 or so). I feel great about that given that my last half marathon was at a 10:30.
Bonus :What do you think of tattoos? Do you have any?
I have fairy wings tattooed across my back. I don't dislike tattoos, but they are a huge commitment. ETA: I'd like to earn an Ironman tattoo one day. Maybe when my kids are older. Or something.

xctsclrx, your future workout schedule is very much like mine right now. It's amazing what biking does for my running....although if I do a very hard and long bike ride and then try to run the next day, my run will suffer.
mustardseed2007, Do you think you would be willing to share some beginner workouts for biking and swimming? I know I can google and get a lot of good ones, but I always prefer advice from "real" people.
1. I have been boxing 2x a week and hope to move that to 3x this week. Paranoid about my stupid femur and it does ache a bit. Running 2x a week.
2. I hope it all happens...kids have stuff 4/5 weekdays now so it's a little intense around here.
3. I am gaining weight because we keep going out for Mexican and I eat whole baskets of chips with all the cheese. So if I can stop doing that it would be fabulous.
4. I like tattoos that are small and meaningful. Or large and hideable but meaningful. I have a small sorority symbol on my ankle that results in very inept men asking me if I like math. I didn't see that coming.
1. How did last week go? I was able to get two workouts done. I'm struggling to get 3 in right now due to a lot of other commitments.
2. What are your work out goals for the week? Number? Type? I will be happy with 2 gym workouts this week. If I can squeeze in a run, that will be a bonus.
3. What are your food goals for the week? Stick with tracking and staying in my calorie range on most days.
4. Any non-scale victories? I've been able to increase the amount of weight during my BodyPump classes and not suffer too much. I think I am actually building some muscle.
Bonus :What do you think of tattoos? Do you have any? I would love to get a tattoo, but I haven't been able to determine what I want. I want something with the kids' names or initials. DH has offered to design something for me since he is an artist. I might just take him up on his offer.
1. Last week was okay. I got in a ton of walking the last 3 days. I didn't do too much of my at home fitness as I was to stressed/busy with DD and getting ready to camp.
2. A couple walks and to get back into doing my at home fitness plan.
3. Actually eat...I didn't eat much of anything last week and what I ate wasn't great but not bad either. I really want to sit down and eat actual meals this week.
4. I probably walked 20k for steps each day for 3 days in a row. My shins are screaming
Bonus: No tattoos and no plans to get one. I don't like needles and I just don't care for the look of them. I don't care if other people have tattoos but it isn't for me. I also think it is really stupid for a teenager to run off an get one the minute they turn 18 because they can. A few of the gym coach helpers did this recently and most of the parents judged because their main reason was for getting it was "I'm 18 I'm an adult so I can do it now". It was also very interesting to see how these 18 year old were reacting to the 5/6 year old girls and the questions. Most of the kids were like you are crazy and "why"...

1. Last week was pretty decent, as far as I can remember. oh. Except when I phoned it for dinner and had a Whopper on Tuesday. Oh dear gosh, and again on friday night when I went HAM on some takeout. Last week, my nutrition was bad. Exercise was good.
2. rying to get to crossfit 4 times. We're tessting max lifts this week and i don't want to miss any. I PR'd my front squat at 6am today. So I have a good feeling about the week!
3. I need to get back to tracking my food. Not to be exact or anything, but to be mindful.
4. Any non-scale victories? We had family pictures this weekend and I didn't spend the whole time sucking in. Not because I'm feeling svelte, but because i don't feel horribly self-conscious. this is a big win for me!
Bonus I like to look at tatoos. On other people. Not for me.
judyblume14 - I do zero unplanned snacks UNLESS it involves a Mexican restaurant. Then I am like a crazy person. It sucks! I gained FIVE pounds between Friday and Monday! It's all tortilla related and alcohol. I have got to do better this weekend.
1. How did last week go? pretty good. I don't adhere to RP 100%, more like 80%. Or 65....] 2. What are your work out goals for the week? Number? Type? its taper week! Lift two times, run one 3 miler and one 2 miler. My half marathon is this Saturday!
3. What are your food goals for the week? I had a bunch of junk today but from now until Saturday it's straight RP. My runs are really mental--does that make sense? If I think I'm not ready then I will have an inner critic and psych myself out. So if I eat well I think I'll be in a good mindset. 4. Any non-scale victories? I finished Stage one of NROL4W. Here's my stats!
Squat started at 45, now at 80. Deadlift was 45, now 85. Well there's a ton more but anyway I like this a lot! ]Bonus :What do you think of tattoos? Do you have any? I wish I was decisive enough to choose one that I would want. None for me...yet.
1. How did last week go? I got all my work outs in but my diet was terrible over the weekend.
2. What are your work out goals for the week? Number? Type? 3 runs and 3 strength training/HIT workouts
3. What are your food goals for the week? To cut down on mindless snacking
4. Any non-scale victories? I committed to starting a whole30 on Thursday. I have been seriously sucking in the nutrition department lately and hope this will get me back on track.
Bonus:What do you think of tattoos? Do you have any? I got a tattoo when I was 18. I regret it now but at least it is small and somewhere I can easily hide it. I have been thinking about getting it redone into something that is more meaningful to me but haven’t made the effort yet.

1. How did last week go? I had pneumonia. So other than taking care of DS, pretty much all I did was sleep. And cough up my lungs.
2. What are your work out goals for the week? I'm still taking it easy. The antibiotics I'm on come with a warning that tendon problems can happen while taking this medicine, or even after. So aside from getting through my work days, I'm planning on easing back into physical activity.
3. What are your food goals for the week? Just listening to my body. I didn't eat much last week, and now that I'm back to work I feel like it's a challenge to get what I need to get through the day. I'm probably just needing to replenish my energy a lot.
4. Any non-scale victories? Just keeping DS's schedule going smoothly over the past week, and managing to get the rest I needed, felt like a victory.
Bonus :What do you think of tattoos? Do you have any? Tattoos are beautiful. I don't have any, but I might get one someday. I'm just fickle about what to get and I have commitment issues.

I'm jumping back in here since I need to get my shit together.
1. I was on vacation last week. I loved every calorie I ingested. 2. I'm going to get the 21 day fix workouts out again and do those when I can. I'm hoping to do one every day but Sunday so we will see. 3. I'm going to start the containers again. I'm weaning from BF'ing so following the bracket I'm supposed to be in will be easier. I'm going to stick to the higher one for now I think until I'm fully weaned 4. I tried signing up for a beginner crossfit class. The instructor didn't get my message in time and the class filled up. A friend of mine that goes thinks I can handle just jumping in and scaling the workouts down. So, I may be starting crossfit soon and even considering that is huge for my self-conscious self. Bonus. I like tasteful, meaningful tattoos. I have one on my left shoulder in memory of my dad. It's a little larger than I would prefer now 7 years later, but I still love it.

I promise, you do NOT need to be self-conscious about crossfit! That said, I disagree with your friend. Even though you are active, I would HIGHLY recommend you taking any beginner/foundations courses the gym offers. They are to give you an introduction to proper technique on movements. Sure, you an learn that in a regular class... but that's the focus of foundations. It's a matter of safety.

Weeee, you're going to love it!
It's a pretty small gym and the owner/instructor is there for the classes and she said he is very involved in helping new people learn proper technique, which is something I've heard about him for the last few years.
