Sorry if this has been discussed before, but I'm curious to know if you guys are drinking coffee while TTC.
I know that they say you can safely drink coffee while pregnant and I'm sure you can while TTC. I just read somewhere that caffeine can be bad for implantation. Anyone know if that's true? Can't even remember where I read it. Probably some bogus website.

My doc says a small cup is ok, just to get myself in the habit for when I'm KU and can only have this amount. I only ever drank 2-3 anyways. Sometimes they'd be two cups consecutively, sometimes one in the AM and one when I had a late rehearsal or something, but never more than like 3 before TTC, and now just the 1.
I think about all the shit people did in the 50's and 60's like drink/smoke while pregnant, and TTC, and how far ahead I already am with my small coffee intake...lol
ETA: I will say that if someone has experienced multiple mcs and is having TTTC, I'd prob opt out of a lot of things that are probably harmless---like cmall amounts of caffeine---just to see if it helps.

I have to agree with this. Unless you have risk factors, I wouldn't worry too much, but I'd probably start cutting back now just to be ready for when you are pregnant.

IDK, it's hard enough when you're having TTTC without trying to remember to not drink coffee, do drink green tea but only for X days, then switch to pomegranate juice for Y days, and then finish it all off by blending a pineapple core w/ some organic, no sugar, no pulp OJ or whatever.
I think it's easier to start changing the things you can control, just not to feel so out of control. Ultimately, though, I'm guessing that the majority of people that have sustained TTTC don't eventually find out that it was because they downed 4 cups of coffee each day.
No option for me. I don't drink it at all...not to be careful but because I don't drink coffee or pop.
This is me. I have maybe one caffeinated soda a month. I also drink tea, but stick to caffeine free teas. Caffeine just doesn't agree with my digestive system.
I've cut back. But for me--that's still having a small cup every morning. I was pg, and did have a miscarriage earlier this summer. I had a small cup every morning, and that was all the caffeine I drank. I'm debating whether I should cut it out completely if I happen to get pg again. I'll cross that bridge when I come to it, I guess.
