Thank god it's Friday!

I am working late tonight and for a few hours tomorrow. Then tomorrow I'm meeting up with a friend and going to see an original Shakespeare manuscript at a museum. Then it's ladies night. Sunday, I have no idea.

Oh hi! I'll be glad when work is done - I've been absolutely overwhelmed with emails this week. My inbox is a scary, scary place.

I have zero weekend plans.

I'd been hoping to go see some more sales horses, but every listing I've forwarded to my trainer has gotten a thumbs down. Don't get me wrong - I'm glad that she can look at 2 photos and 10 seconds of video and say that she sees something not quite right, but damn it, I want to go ride horses, hand someone a stack of cash, and have my own horse again. I went out to the barn last night to brush my trainer's horses because there is clearly a giant horse-shaped hole in my life right now. I' feel kind of silly complaining about it, but I've felt "off" all week, and I think it's because I'm not riding. I've been to 5 yoga classes this week, but it's just not the same kind of "me time".

chalupa I don't think that's silly at all! I know how hard it was for me to not take dance classes for a few months (really about 4). When it's something you're passionate about, it's hard to NOT have that in your life.

Happy Friday everyone!

I'm home so I'm happy! Fort Lauderdale was SO humid this week it felt ridiculously oppressive. The weather is fantastic here today and I'm hoping it holds out for the weekend.

Tonight my two neighbors are coming over to watch This is Us since I was gone on Tuesday. Tomorrow I am doing a major closet purge once and for all. Sunday I have to head out to California for an all day meeting on Monday.

I haven't done online dating in years but a friend of mine recently told me about Inner Circle so I signed up. Anyone heard anything about it?

No plans here past schoolwork and more decluttering around the house. I need to be BRUTAL about this, I want to get it on the market in November. (eek) Oh, and I need to catch up on Outlander.

Yeah, it seems like some interesting people.  They screen everyone before they allow them membership which is interesting.  I'm not even really clear on how they screen people beyond public views of various social and professional media platforms.  It's not available everywhere yet either.  I just signed up Wednesday so I'm withholding final judgement until I give it some time.

I sent my trainer a horse's sale listing and she responded "Nice". The horse she liked? A baby thoroughbred for sale for less than I just sold Larry. After all the nopes, I'm ready to fall over in shock. I guess I have an appointment to make, although I swore I was going to spend more money this time around and buy a "finished" horse I could just climb aboard and gallop over a jump instead of a project.
