1. How do you feel about fall? Are you more “Yay boots! Bring out the Pumpkin Spice Everything!” Or are you crying while packing away the sandals and tanks?
1. In Texas, fall means “less hot than normal but shorts are still good until Thanksgiving.” I love fall. I wish we lived somewhere with a more pronounced fall.
2. I’m great at getting babies to stop crying. So much so that my BFF used to literally thrust her screaming infant at me in a room full of people because he would stop when I held him. Also, when I worked in a daycare, I would get pulled out of my 2-3 year old room if they had an inconsolable baby because I’m magic.
1. I LOVE fall! Living in New England helps. I'm really, really sad that our "fall" this year has been in the 70s and 80s. It sucks to go apple picking in short sleeves and sandals, totally kills the vibe. 2. Getting two babies onto identical routines? lol My two have always slept at exactly the same times, eaten at exactly the same times, napped for exactly the same amount of time, etc... It might classify as more of a survival skill than a mom superpower, but everyone was always amazed at the level of routine we had established with two infants from day one.
1. I am crying while I pack away sandals and tank tops. But I am a lot farther north than you.
2. Mom super power hmmm. I was proud when I mastered the give me a hug and go to bed thing. I still do a bedtime routine some nights, but some nights I just don't. And I don't have to. I just say go to bed and they go to bed.
1. I love fall; I've lived in all kinds of climates, but I prefer one where each season is distinct.
2. I have cat like reflexes. Which is weird, because I'm also a total clutz, but I have caught more items as they fall off of counters, couches, whatever. Including but not limited to DS.

1. I adore fall. I'm bummed this year because it's already over halfway through October and our temps were in the mid-70s until yesterday. Bring on the crisp air and bright colored leaves!
2. I feel like a mom-failure this morning (super rough morning getting everyone ready and out the door) so I'm gonna skip this one for now...
1. I love fall, but miss the fun of summer. This is wonderful time of year, if only January and February weren't lurking behind it.
2. So far, I have been able to stay ahead of my kids on some things. Like I will know something that happened at school or with one of their friends before they tell me. I keep in touch with the teachers, so I can stay in the know. My kids are like, how do you know these things. I'm like, just remember, I ALWAYS KNOW.

1. I love fall! Not a huge pumpkin spice fan though. I'm more of an apple girl. I love the weather, the clothes, the activities. It's one of the perks to living in IN. We get all 4 seasons. 2. Finding things. I am trying so so hard to get DS to overcome that inevitable man-gene that prevents them from finding things that are in the most obvious places.

The perks of small town living. It's even better when there's a couple firefighters in the family, some of your good friends are cops and there are a couple teachers in the family.
I'm mostly annoyed by "fall" here as a season. It's in the 40s in the morning and 80s in the afternoon. It's impossible to dress for that. I love the seasonal stuff - football, Pumpkins, roasting marshmallows, all that.
Keeping schedules in my head. People randomly mention things and I remember so when making plans with friends they will say "I think we have something" and I can remember that a month ago they mentioned a cousin's engagement party.
This of course extends to our family - random things like the date the spring soccer season starts and normal things like field assignments for games "the last game is on Park E so Restaurant would be a good location for lunch after at the end of the season".
sweetptater, me too on the failing as a mom thing. That's what spurred the question. The need to remind myself that I'm actually good at some mom things. And really good at one, at least. Hugs. I feel ya.
1. How do you feel about fall? Are you more “Yay boots! Bring out the Pumpkin Spice Everything!” Or are you crying while packing away the sandals and tanks? Fall is my favorite time of year! Bring on the pumpkin spice!
2. What is your mom superpower? Anticipating what the kids are going to ask for. They are usually pretty predictable so it isn’t quite superpower level but it impresses DH at least
1. Not a pumpkin spice person, but I love fall in New England. Though it hasn't really been fall-like... more like "colorful summer". It's weird to see all the foliage when it's 80 degrees.
2. Mom super-power... hmmm... the only thing the kids never fought was sleep. My kids looove to sleep. Hours and hours of sleep. We never did cosleeping, kids transitioned to cribs quickly, no nightmare transitions from crib to bed. Much of it is genetics, I know, but being like a rabid crazed animal when it came to naps helped.
1. I love fall but not if it's cold and rainy like this week. Not a fun of pumpkin spice but give me all the apples.
2. Patience? At least that's what my friends and family tell me. I've had strangers come up to me in stores and compliment me on how calm and patient I am with the girls when they're throwing a fit.

1. In my mind, I HATE fall. It signals the end of summer and is depressing AF. surprisingly this year, I'm looking forward to slightly chilly weather, and fall food. Probably because summer this year has stretched until... this week? I have 1 PSL each year, to remind myself that I do not like them. I'm not a pumpkin fan, I prefer apple/cinnamon type stuff.
2. Can't think of a superpower right now, but am so happy that I was able to get both of my girls into their cribs in their own rooms at 5 and 6 weeks old. The 3yo never tries to come into our bed, except on weekend mornings, when we welcome it.
1. We don't have a real fall here. It's supposed to hit 90 today, and while there are some trees with leaves that will change color, they're not ones I see often.

1. I love fall but I hate how quickly it turns to winter. I’m all for 50-60 degree sunny days, some pumpkin spice and other fall flavors and smells but it always seems to change so quickly in the Midwest. Example - last week it was in the 60’s/70’s. Today - rainy and 45 as a high Brrr.
2. This is really tough as most of the time I feel like I’m barely hanging on but in my best moment I’m really efficient and a killer multitasker.
1. I love fall, everything about it from the weather to the smell. I could do with out PSL though, they are too sweet, and I hate winter. In the northern Midwest winter is really dang cold. But fall forever.
2. I am really good with babies, and really good at not letting crying get to me.
1. I love fall - the crisp air, changing leaves, apple picking. It's this time of year that I miss living in upstate NY. I'm not a fan of pumpkin anything. But I love a good hard apple cider.
2. I can remember data and numbers very well. Also, I can anticipate what the kids need before they ask.

1. Fall in Michigan is nice. I wouldn't say it's my favorite season, but I do enjoy seeing the leaves change colors and going to the apple orchard and the pumpkin patch. And cider and donuts.
2. Is worrying a super power? I do that really well.

2. I could use a super power.
You have had a heck of a ride with medical "stuff." You manage to keep your kids happy through surgeries and medications and a slew of scary things. You ARE supermom.
1. No on fall. Fall signals the next 8-9 months of gray, rain, drizzle and fog. We do get some really amazing days thrown in over here in the PNW and we still do all the fall activities we just do them in the rain.
1. Love fall. Birthday season for me, DH, and, SS2 and DS. Also, Halloween, and Thanksgiving. I don't like pumpkin spice though. 2. Translating my almost 3 year old and having the ability to remember where all his toys are. It's not lost until mom can't find it.

1. Love fall for the moderate temperatures, falling leaves, apple picking, etc. Not a PSL fan, but I bake a lot with pumpkin. And I love that fall heralds in my love for the crock pot. I still use it in the summer, but chili just does not feel like a summer food whereas it is definitely appropriate in fall/winter. What I do not like about fall is that winter comes next. The last two winters I have had some scary snow driving experiences and I get anxious just thinking about driving in the snow now.
2. Super mom power. The ability to listen to Kidz Bop on repeat. Sometimes the same song on repeat.
