1. Well last week my DH and I found out some life changing news and I took the week off due to stress, not being able to sleep and just letting it sink in. Probably not the healthiest way to deal but oh well back at it this week.
2. My goals for this week is to get back the routine but my goals have changed a little. Anyone know of any good pregnancy workouts or videos to do? 3. My goal is to cut out caffeine and increase my fruits and veggies.
4. Not really.
5. I used to do eggs, but got out of the habit. I have gotten in the bad habit of stopping for a biscuit and coffee on the way to work.
Can I start playing? I'm getting too fat for all my clothes, and it must stop. But you guys intimidate the f out of me.
1. I'm doing better on food. I need to start moving more. I gave up soda about 6 weeks ago, and it's still a struggle to stay away from it. But I'm managing!
2. I'm traveling this week (source of my fatness), so my goals are to do yoga or a few 10 minute workouts in my room every other day at least. And take advantage of opportunities to walk. I'm trying to slowly work up to actually working out, but I'm hampered right now by a really crappy shoulder injury that hurts when I do more than just walk.
3. Stop eating all the fried things. Continue to not drink soda. Increase water intake to at least 36 ozs.
Bonus: a banana and a bagel or English muffin with peanut butter. I made these incredible egg sandwiches a couple of weeks. When I stop traveling I want to go back to that. They were so good and kept me full until lunch.
1. Went to boxing once. 2. My stupid femur hurts - like wake me up in the middle of the night pain - so there's that. I'm going to boxing today because it has finally abated, and then will see what happens.
3. Only eat pizza once a day. For real I have been way out of control.
4. I found a deep v and low back (to waist) shirt that looks awesome with a bralette. I also no longer have any rolls that would show so that's what I wore out Saturday night.
Bob Evans Southwest Hash Brown - 140 calories of amazingness.
xctsclrx,, I used this recipe, but I made the eggs in muffin tins and I added all the veggies. Also topped with Canadian bacon or ham for a little extra protein. So good!
1. How did last week go? Last week went well! I got all my work outs in and have stayed to plan with the whole30
2. What are your work out goals for the week? Number? Type? 3 runs and 3 strength training/HIT workouts
3. What are your food goals for the week? Stay compliant with whole30
4. Any non-scale victories? I’m only on day 6 but I definitely feel less bloated
Bonus: I am sure that we have done this one before but, What is your go to breakfast on work mornings? I like to mix it up. I either have a protein shake, loaded sweet potato or a lara bar and fruit. This morning I had roasted leftover potatoes and sautéed spinach topped with an egg over easy. It was amazing!

Oh my gosh, xctsclrx! Congratulations! I am assuming this was a surprise, hence the stress? Hugs. Re: "pregnancy" workouts - everyone has their own comfort level, but I subscribe to: if your body is used to it, keep on keepin' on. I kept doing crossfit through both of my pregnancies. I modified some things (using dumbells instead of a barbell for movements in from of my body), dropped the weights on some things, would shy away from things that were fall risks (rope climbs and box jumps), and subbed rowing instead of running (but only because I wanted an excuse - plenty of pregnant woman continue to run throughout their whole pregnancy!)
mommyatty, LOL at us being intimidating. Join us. I spend most of my weekly posts talking about all of the food I can't say "no" to...
1. Last week was really good. We tested a lot of lifts and I met or beat my old max weights on almost all of them!
2. Trying for 4 CF workouts.
3. I need to stop raiding the halloween candy. There used to be a whole bag of Hersheys, Reeses, KitKats and Whoppers. Now, it's just a bag of Whoppers.
4. NSV - see above re: max lifts.
Bonus: Breakfast - a few days a week I do half a sweet potato and a fried egg sprinkled with bacon bits. If we have leftover veggies, I usually warm them in the frying pan with the egg. Or I'll do a piece of toast with peanut butter and a banana. Or a frozen breakfast enchilada or sandwich (but they are so full of sodium, so they are last resort).
judyblume14, very much a surprise. We were talking vasectomy and had started giving away some of our stuff. We still have to go to a doctor and get everything confirmed. I am about 6 weeks now. The wait is unbearable.
xctsclrx, omg! Congrats! I hope you have an uneventful pregnancy and your wait goes by quickly!
1. How did last week go? It was good. I was able to get 2 workouts in and my food intake wasn't terrible.
2. What are your work out goals for the week? Number? Type? I want to do two workouts. I already did one last night. I headed to the gym for a run. I hope to workout again on Saturday with P90X.
3. What are your food goals for the week? Same as always - stay in my calorie range so I can lose weight. It's been hard the last few days since I think AF is coming, which means I want all the chocolate.
4. Any non-scale victories? I was able to buckle my belt a little tighter this week even though I've been bloated due to impending AF.
Bonus: I am sure that we have done this one before but, What is your go to breakfast on work mornings? I always have peanut butter on wheat toast. Sometimes I'll have a banana too.
mommyatty, they kind of intimidated me too. Then I realized that they work out because they love it and it makes them feel good so as long as I do something that I like to do and it makes me feel good then I'm golden even if it isn't' big runs and CF.
1. Really bad, no workouts not even the planks I've been doing each night. We jumped to stormy and cold and all I wanted to do was curl up on the couch and veg. I did eat meals all week and stuck to my meal plan
2. Get back to doing my planks each night and try for 45 sec hold instead of 30 sec. Maybe walk on Thursday if the weather is decent after work.
3. Not to eat the entire pan of brownies I made Sunday and to limit myself to 1 piece of DH's bday cake on Wednesday and not continue to eat it all week long.
4. NA 5. I don't work out in the morning but my go to breakfast I eat at my desk at work is a container of yogurt with a side of granola type cereal. I really like Love Crunch that has dried raspberry and strawberry added to it plus dark chocolate.

1. How did last week go?
Decent...although food wise, I'm figuring out that if I half ass the plan the nutritionist gave me, I don't loose anything. Which is so sad.
2. What are your work out goals for the week? Number? Type?
I have a triathlon this weekend. I would not be sad if it canceled as I haven't been able to be on my bike since soccer started. Oh well.
3. What are your food goals for the week?
I went to 3 grocery stores so I could get all the right things to eat on plan and have it still be yummy. So my goal is to really dial in and follow the nutritionist plan all week long.
4. Any non-scale victories?
Ran 12 miles on Sunday. I always feel like a bad ass when I run over 10 miles.
Bonus: I am sure that we have done this one before but, What is your go to breakfast on work mornings?
On mornings when I workout, I wake up and have a small banana with peanut butter pre-workout. Then, on my way home or when I get home, I have a protein shake mixed with coconut water.
I then make myself a batch of egg whites and an egg and 2 pieces of low cal toast for an egg sandwich and I have that when I go to the office.
If i don't workout in the mornings (really just on Tuesdays) then it's just the egg white sandwich, which I'll eat at home.
Great. I enjoyed whatever I wanted on Sunday and a little Monday. 2. What are your work out goals for the week? Number? Type? More laidback now that Half training is over. Lift twice Run twice maybe.
3. What are your food goals for the week? [brStay close to Cut 1 of the RP plan.
4. Any non-scale victories?
2 people at work asked if I lost weight yesterday. ] Bonus: I am sure that we have done this one before but, What is your go to breakfast on work mornings? It used to be overnight oats but Cut 1 has cut my carbs. Now I make egg whites with either sautéed spinach or peppers/onions, topped w salsa. It's a pain in the ass and I don't have time but it gives me my macros.
mommyatty get in here! I hope you can replace intimidating by understanding. I felt intimidated by the Health and Fitness Group and felt much more comfortable in this check in. But to be honest once I started participating even in the H &F group I felt very supported but there too!
xctsclrx HOLY CRAP. Are you ok? I'm assuming surprise.... Hugs! You are already a pro....so there is that right! Many hugs for you!
campermom, I am okay. It was a surprise, but I've calmed down. Once I told DH and let him have his freak out I was okay. He has been redoing our budget for the last few days to help figure out how to do this. It'll be two years of very tight budgeting. Then we will have one kid in Kindergarten and one car paid off so it will help.
mustardseed2007, thank you! I am starting to get excited now. I am just waiting for the ultrasound so I can know everything is good to go.
I'm mentally preparing myself to join this thread. I really need to work out. I've decided I'm going to do the 21 Day Fix. Just can't decide on when to start...

I love 21 day fix! I need to get back on it but can't get past the "I'm too tired to workout/cook" excuse.
