Poll: Book Club read for December

I just realized we only picked books through November, whoops. So here's a poll of books to choose from, taken from this list from Goodreads. I figure we can wait until the Goodreads Choice Award winners are announced before we choose books for next year, assuming people are still interesting in participating in the book club next year. I won't be offended if people want to go back to just reading books they pick for themselves and want book club to take a break for a while. Let me know your thoughts.

I just want to say that even though I've not participated in all of them, I really like the monthly book club. I seem to not read a lot of the same things as others so it's nice to know somwthing that a lot of people will read and discuss.

I definitely want to read Born a Crime - it's been on my list for a while now. Lilac Girls also sounds interesting and something I haven't read that much about.

We did The Ocean at the End of the Lane here a couple of years ago, though I know we have new people since then.

I didn't vote for Handmaid's Tale since I've read it several times already, but I'll happily discuss if it wins.
