BFN at 11dpo and definitely feeling out. I’ve been feeling slightly crampy, and while not normal, it has happened before. 😞
Anyway, another cycle down is making me want to research supplements. Is this desperate and grasping at straws? I’m thinking of calling the doc to set up an appt. In the meantime, what are you taking beyond a prenatal, if anything?
Prenatal, vitamin D 400IU and now I’m going to start monthly vitamin B 12 injections with my doctor (first is scheduled on CD 10 for next cycle) and 1,000 mcg b-12 sublingual daily.
It can’t hurt to get your levels checked, particularly if you’re due for a physical. We just found my vit B 12 deficiency this week, though I’ve been deficient in the past (Crohn’s disease with bowel resection). I’m hoping this is what my body needs to support implantation.
I take a prenatal, vitamin D because I am low, and B6 to hopefully increase lp. If the b6 doesn't work, I'll call my ob. With DS, I took Fertilaid for a month or two before I got pregnant. I don't know that it changed anything or not and it's kind of $$.
I take a conception geared prenatal. I had blood work done in Feb but wasn’t geared toward fertility. Everything normal (b12 included) except low ferritin which has since been corrected. She mentioned testing “hormones” when I said I was getting new PMS symptoms each cycle, with severe pain one cycle which my gut says ruptured ovarian cyst but hasn’t happened since. I’m hoping to get DH checked out next month as well. Sorry for the rambling. Lots of feelings and overwhelmed at our next steps.

I take prenatals and CoQ10 (which is supposed to help egg quality), magnesium (so I don’t get headaches and need Advil), and baby aspirin, which may help prevent early miscarriages.

How much CoQ10 do you take?
Right now I’m only on the woo stuff, pomegranate juice and red raspberry leaf tea before O.

100 or 200 mg per day. Some people on TTTC take 400 I think.
I have serious egg quality issues, and the supplements list my RE gave me includes CoQ 10 (or ubiquinol, which is the more bio available version), 200mg/ 3 times per day. It also includes things like melatonin 3mg/night, L-arginine twice a day, an antioxidant, prenatals, and DHA daily. My pillbox rivals an octogenarian’s! I’m not sure if any of these help, but I’ve read plenty of studies showing they’re correlated with small increases in the live birth rate for women with fertility issues.
