H and I watched it. I thought the episode was okay. For some reason, the story lines and character development is in a weird place for me. I'm agonna need more than just some scenes of Margaret at the hospital, Al Capone yelling and getting in a huff, and Nucky throwing a party.

I thought it was underwhelming. A lot of time has passed between seasons and they didn't do a good job of bridging that gap.

Ditto - I was meh. DH loved it but he always does. A year and a half had passed, yet it felt like it could have been a week.
What was with the chest full of gold? Are they that well off?

This Italian guy is supposed to be the live wire this season right? Why not just put a bullet in his head since he's such a nut job?

Oh and did Van Alden's (or whatever his name is) wife have another baby? She was nursing a son right? Or holding a son right? That was his wife right?

Van Alden appears to have had a 2nd child, a boy, with the nanny, so I guess he is in a relationship with her. I can't tell if he married her, I would guess not since he is assuming a false name.

Okay, it is the nanny. I thought I remember some scene last season where his wife was rocking the baby even after she stormed out. Did I imagine that or was it the nanny? I don't pay very good attention to TV.

Okay that makes sense. The nanny is probably just trying to get her citizenship Val Alden is super creepy. But I did feel bad for him that he lost out on the contest!
