I am so stumped with DD1. She likes hatchimals so from us I am getting her the twin hatchimals and the hatchimals nursery play set. I have NO idea what to get her from Santa. We were going to do a bunk bed but we think dd2 would jump off for fun. She has random ideas but nothing set in stone that she must have. She wants this little action animal that I think she would play with for like 20 minutes and then get bored with. We dont have cable so she never sees commercials and is therefor clueless. Yay for no commercials!! No more "I wants!"

I got my 8 yr old a niece the new bop-it game and a gc to justice. She wanted the new simon optix game but I couldn't find it in person. Her parents got her those giants bows from that youtube girl (jo maybe?) And a basketball hoop since she just started playing.
Gap fit, old navy active and Athleta girl clothes A ton of craft sets Cute/ funny key chains for their backpacks A ton of books (I can list suggestions if you want)
If your daughter is into Harry Potter Pottery Barn Teen has a new Harry Potter collection
I’m sure there is more stuff they want. I’ll post when I remember
My 8 year old girl is getting an Instax camera and an acvessories kit (case, frames, photo albums, filters, film, etc) and a fingerling monkey. And something else that we will get her that is undecided.
On my idea list for her: -mermaid pillow - pop up Egypt or dragon encyclopedia - nerf gun - new ski helmet cover
She also doesn't need much and doesn't want much really. It makes it both easy and hard.
We got her a Nikon coolpix S33 digital camera last year when she was 7 and she loves that thing.
My 8, almost 9-year old, is super into American Girl so mostly that. Also some of the cute accessory sets from Target's knock off line (Our Next Generation).
Earrings, hair accessories; probably a clothes gift.
She likes Playmobil and Lego. She likes some kind of Lego Friends cocoa set?
All the kids are getting a piano keyboard, but she's going to like it the most.
Maybe tickets to a play downtown...but that may happen before Christmas so it might not be a gift.
We haven't let them have much access at all to the iPad. The kids want one that they are allowed to use more. We are thinking about that.
Maybe one of those flip-sequin pillows or similar for her bed
Lotion to clip to her backpack with a cute clip from Bath & Body, maybe.
Probably a game. I have a couple stashed away from last year and might look up a cool new one.
She also likes art but we have a lot of art kits.
More ideas to come when she goes through more catalogs!

Santa didn't bring her a hoverboard last year, so we may get one for her this year. (Last year we got her the Fuji Instax, which she liked well enough, but wasn't the thing she asked for.)
I suggested my parents get her a basketball hoop.
She doesn't like dolls. She likes Lego and art/crafts, but has plenty of both.
For her birthday last month, she got: roller skates (+helmet and pads lol), Heely shoes, and a guitar
Other ideas/stocking stuffers: Exploding Kittens game, tshirt/items from her favorite Youtuber, fun socks, earrings, B&BW hand sanitizer.
She's getting an AG doll, AG accessories, and Bad Kitty books for her birthday.
For Christmas so far I have a science kit, a Lego friends set, a razor scooter, a fingerling monkey, and more AG stuff. I'm considering a fitness tracker and a nicer camera. She loves taking pictures!
ETA: Other than AG stuff and a watch she really isn't asking for anything. She is not in to little collectible stuff or the LOL dolls like a lot of her friends seem to be. It's a hard age. She wants bunk beds and a bean bag chair but neither are in the cards for this year. She also is asking for a trampoline for the 4th year in a row but DH is very anti trampoline so Santa won't be delivering on that, either.
ETA2: At her birthday party yesterday she got some of the mini hatchimals and loved them. She wants more plus the nursery so I guess that will get added to her list!

Our DD is 6.5, right now she is HUGE into Barbie Dolls--pretty much wants EVERY Barbie doll/item/thing. We celebrate Christmas and Hanukkah, so instead of just hundreds of toys---DH and I talked to her about Santa bringing stuff for her new room. (After the holidays, she is moving into the guest room---while her room will be prepped as the baby's room.) She was super excited about that. So, a desk, storage cart, flip sequence pillow, etc.
Her Hanukkah/Christmas list was: "Russian Nesting Dolls, Barbie Dream House, AG Gymnastics Set, Barbie Gymnastics set, New earrings, new books, legos and a magic set"
DD is about 8 1/2 at Christmas. In our family Santa brings one gift so I need to wait until we visit Santa to see what she tells him. I think it will be a Hatchimal. I bought one at Costco and I think I will give it to her as her "play with" gift from us. I also bought one of the AG sets from Costco (school desk set) as a back up. Her "something to wear" will be an Ivivva jacket for ice skating. Her "something she needs" will be new ice skates (we just started competing) and I'll also get some sort of book set - maybe the Land of Stories books? I'm trying to keep it simple this year as I tend to go overboard and we have some big trips planned in 2018.
Ideas I'm giving family - * Pie Face Sky high (I refuse to buy this, but she keeps talking about it!) * Gift cards to Target, Justice, Claire's, Barnes & Noble, Disney * Mousetrap boardgame * Anything Jo-Jo Siva (ugh!) related * American Girl/William Sonoma cookbooks, aprons, etc * Disney gift cards

My almost 7 yo will get:
Piano keyboard (she is taking lessons) Winter boots Most likely, a rock tumbler And stuffed animals that you receive after donating to World Wildlife Fund (she is OBSESSED with their fundraising catalog.)
Legos The god damn lol giant ball A karaoke microphone Earrings
That's all i know so far
Haha dd does want that lol doll and I was thinking of getting it for her bc she keeps bringing it up but I can't find one! Plus I'm cheap so I would want it on sale.
That camera looks cool that a few people commented on. She really isn't into ag dolls but does play with barbies so I may resort to that.

DD is 7.5 and wants a karaoke microphone. Last year she didn't know what she wanted and kept coming up with stuff her friends wanted (like a troll and a pogo stick...) so I'm glad that she knows something this year. She gets one Santa gift and 2 gifts from us (and whatever she gets from friends and family). She is also getting a game. I'm pretty sure I had the third thing figured out as well except I can't remember now lol. She got AG/knock off clothes the last couple of years and she actually doesn't want anymore at this point . She got a geode kit and a fossil kit last year.
My kids in that range are asking for a video camera, karaoke machine, bean bag chair, a fancy decorating baking kit, slippers, FurReal friends, barbies and legos. I'm not sure what they will actually be getting.
Dd is 9 and we are redoing her room to a more grown up one. So she’s mainly getting stuff for that. Also twin hatchimals. Also saw this LEGO boost thing that looks cool.
Getting her small things from Justice! Just ordered a lot of stocking stuffers while they were having a sale. Lip gloss, bath stuff, keychain, etc. she loves bath bombs right now so I got some of those. Also some shirts/PJs from there.
When dd was 7 she got AG doll and accessories. Last year she got AG accessories, a gymnastics mat and big LEGO set.
My DD3 is 8.5yrs old at Christmas. I'm struggling with ideas. We are moving right after Christmas so this will suck. I think I'm getting her & DD4 new bedding (Beddy's) for their bunk beds. Probably some clothes. Some Harry Potter decor from PBTeen. Maybe a cowbell for her drum kit. We are talking about new laptops for each kid for homeschooling purposes (they do Latin, Science & some Math on line). It's hard--I have no real "toy" ideas--we have all the usual things already.

My DD1 is 8. She finally started giving me ideas yesterday after we picked up the Target toy catalog.
She wants a Hatchimal. I'm trying to decide if she'd prefer the twins one or the one with just one animal. Then decide if my 4 year old really wants one too, or if she's just saying she does because big sister wants one.
I'll probably get some of those tiny Hatchimals for stocking stuffers.
I think I'll get her a 3D pen.
She wants realistic looking stuffed animals.
I showed her the Target Our Generation vet center, but she isn't very into dolls. I may try to find a vet kit for her to use with stuffed animals, if I can find one that isn't aimed a toddlers.

Hatchimal twins (which she will never play with, but wanted anyways, thank goodness I got them on sale!) Escape room board game Graphic novels Touch lamp for her room
She's recently decided she is into Pokemon, so maybe some cards.
She's really hard to buy for, she's really not into toys all that much, but she likes nature stuff, which is challenging to gift in the winter! I think I'm adding a rock tumbler or microscope to her list now!
My 6 year old, on the other hand is super easy to buy for: Legos (she wants all the legos!). Barbie, soccer stuff, any sort of art supplies.
She got a bunch of design stuff. Fashion Angels books. She loves that type of stuff. She also used her birthday money and got a fancy Samsung tablet. Which I have to say I am far more impressed than her fire (which died a slow death and stopped charging and holding a charge). It has a lot of security for us adults to monitor what she views and what apps she downloads from our cell phone. Also it allows for us to limit how many hours she uses it and bedtime.
We are stumped for Christmas. I feel like she has everything. So we are not sure yet.
