I'm here, but I'm struggling. I just spent two months doing revisions of my Camp Nano 2015 novel with a mentor who is a published author, and going from final revisions to a sloppy first draft is a slog.
I need to keep my mind off the literary agents reading my other book, though, so I'm going to keep going. For this nano I'm continuing a book I had already writter 25000 words of, so I've added 20k since November 1st, which isn't bad. I may not hit my NaNo target, but I should still end up with at least 65-70k of this novel, which is enough to work with.

ugh, it's so bad, though,ha!
Ditto this part. I'm so impressed at what you've accomplished with your other book, by the way. Your blog makes your journey sounds so impressive.
I passed 35k tonight, but the big news is that my lifetime word count surpassed six hundred thousand last night. All of mine is less impressive than incogneato's work, I assure you all. Maybe someday... For now I'm struggling with book 2. I am finally getting this book going after a lot of dithering. I know I need to get the big action going earlier but I feel like I had too much to cover. I suppose that's for another time.

That's awesome for the word count! I have no clue what mine is...
I was up at 3am feeding the baby and had a great idea for my novel futher down the road, but couldn't go back to sleep, so I was up writing at 3:45am and then didn't bother going back to bed. I'm around 16k words now. I'd like to get another 2k today.

Thanks! It's been really exciting, but in the past two weeks I've just been staring at my inbox, wondering whether I'll actually get an agent any second now... or not. We shall see. It's been very cool taking a book this far though, and being really proud of it. I keep reminding myself I can do it again, even though my current Nano project is a pile of poo at the moment!
I had to take 4 days off to visit my parents, but I'm trying to catch up. I'm kind of switching things all around as I write this thing, so it's going to be incomprehensible to everyone but me by the end of NaNo. I actually do like the story and see potential for it, if I can somehow overcome all the structural issues it has.
