Hi! First of all thanks for your kind msgs and checking up on me last night! I decided on a whim to test after work yesterday even though all day I told myself to wait until sunday or monday because i still had no symptoms although my acne went away. I was really nervous but the test went positive almost instantly and i felt a weird mix of shock and duh of course it would be pos i was “late” by a few short days. i hope that doesn’t sound ungrateful. Of course I am so happy and txted dh to come home earlier than usu, as soon as he walked in he said i knew it cause you never ask me to come home early. I had a dinner party to run off to and got home late so havent even had time to think about due dates or anything but I am a very cautious person so I am gonna head to our company clinic monday morning for a blood test and see when/where i can get an early u/s (i am on expat in a “hardship” country so the docs want to know everything medically significant asap and the doc working here now was my doc on another harship expat 6 yrs ago when i started ttc1 so i feel that we have a strong relationship). Im trying not to over plan but im cautiously happy that i can get testing/scans done when i am in the US after xmas. Thanks again for all your support and kind thoughts and msgs!
Hi gp friends. Just a quick update i got a bloodtest yest and the doc called just before i left work to tell me that my beta was really good and high around 9000 so im relieved and this afternoon we have an appt to discuss my 100000 questions. Hoping to get an early u/s by end of this wk. i did manage to make some 10wk appts back home, i feel it is early to start thinking that far ahead but i wanted to grab the appts while theres availability since i only have 2 wks at home to sch everything.
Im hoping for the best for everyone here too asap! Thanks for your support, id like to keep checking on you all if thats okay !

Definitely stick around! I’d love to hear your updates. Glad you have some dates on the calendar while you’ll be stateside, that should help put your mind at ease a bit.

Agree! I also love to see pregnant charts or read about timing/things you tried differently. I know so much comes down to dumb luck, but I can’t help but wonder ...
