mustardseed2007 How was that tested? My ds is in the 2% in growth. We have done the bone scan and blood test, but nothing out of the ordinary came up with either.
They did a genetics panel, which I didn't really realize.
Basically they went in testing for Turner's Syndrome, which only girls can have so they didn't do the test on DS. But, what I didn't understand at the time was it was really a panel to look for a range of genetic disorders, including Turner and also including this one. They just really really didn't expect to find this one.
DS could actually have the same thing, and it's sometimes inherited so we could all have it. But that'd be weird b/c no one in my family has ever presented with that disorder and we are all really short and DH's family is pretty average or slightly below average.
