1. Where are you in your journey? TTC #1 since May, Cycle 5, CD2
2. Any testing this week? Nope.
3. Non-BFP AWs/vents/randoms? I was running errands yesterday, and I stumbled upon these socks on a clearance bin. Seriously the best $3 I've ever spent in my entire life:
4. Have you put up your Christmas/holiday decorations yet? Nope. We're still trying to decide if we should bother decorating at all this year. We're expecting our new kitchen cabinets to arrive in the next couple of weeks, so by Christmas our house will probably be completely torn apart and in the process of being put back together.
I used to stop by sometimes and I've been MIA for awhile. Long story short, after 4 IUIs over the course of a year, my insurance finally approved an IVF cycle. I did an egg retrieval in June with 18 eggs, 11 mature, 8 fertilized, 7 made it to day 3, and 3 made it to freeze on day 5. The PGS came back with 2 normal (one of each sex) and one non-concurrent. Retested the third one, still no data, so my RE thinks it's a dud.
We transferred a frozen embryo August 1 and got a BFP with an HCG of 18 August 10. RE said to be cautious. Measured a bit behind the whole time. Saw a faint hb around 6 weeks. The following week there was no hb and I had a natural miscarriage 9/17.
Just transferred embryo #2 on 11/29, so I'll be in the office for my pregnancy test on Friday.
1. Where are you in your journey? - Dunno, almost 3 years in?
2. Any testing this week? - Yes, I have an HCG blood test at the RE on Friday
3. Non-BFP AWs/vents/randoms? - Its been a rough few weeks! My husband's 7 month old car was hit and possibly totaled on Thanksgiving (everyone was okay), my back problems flared up over the weekend, and my dad had a heart attack on Friday. Thankfully, we are all alive and better, and looking forward to catching a break!
4. Have you put up your Christmas/holiday decorations yet? - Yes, most of them, although my husband just found the window candles yesterday, and they still need batteries
3. h is so optimistic about this cycle. It’s adorable, but I’m trying to keep both of our expectations in check. Only a 15-20% chance each time, right?
4. Yes, we are all decorated over here. My tree is up and I have a very special gift from one of my patients sitting under it, which makes me so happy to look at every day.

1. TTC #1, cycle 3, still benched.
2. Nope.
3. My wife didn't get the job she was in the running for and while we're not really ready to talk it through yet, we're definitely going to have to put a semi-permanent pause on getting pregnant while she applies for new jobs and we figure out how to pay off the unexpected house expenses from this year. We really need to catch a break. This also means I can't get on the marketplace insurance plan that would have offered better IF coverage, so I'm stuck with my crappy insurance for another year. I know I need to step away from this board because it's going to make me nuts while we're muddling through all this but I'm just not ready yet.
4. We partially decorated! I am so excited because our living room looks gorgeous. Still need to put ornaments on the tree but it's making me so happy to have everything set up.
2. Nope. Waiting is hard. I want to not think about it but I can’t!
3. I took a nasty fall at a music class last week and I’ve been sore since Friday. I tripped over a carpet edge and fell flat on my face. It was so embarrassing. It’s a 4 week series and I kind of don’t want to go back.
4. Yes, we put our tree and stockings up. I love Christmas lights! We went into the city yesterday to see a Christmas light show and we had such a fun night. Lights everywhere and we even found carolers and a brass bad playing holiday music. I loved it!
1. Where are you in your journey? TTC #2 cycle 8 cd 18
2. Any testing this week? Nope. I have decided that next cycle will be the one. That would make my due date my grandmother's birthday.
3. Non-BFP AWs/vents/randoms? I just looked back at my charts because I couldn't believe it's cycle 8. Yup. Only six months of trying but 8 periods. Thanks a lot body.
4. Have you put up your Christmas/holiday decorations yet? Yes, but I left a lot put away this year. Anything I would cry over being broken stayed in the basement
3. My wife didn't get the job she was in the running for
Oh man, I'm so sorry. I hate the state of health insurance in this country.
Thank you. ME TOO (obviously lol.) Her being self-employed has been much more difficult than we ever thought. I can't wait to be on the other side of it.
I am so hopeful for you that your most recent FET is successful, and sorry to hear that you've had some challenging things come up recently. Hugs and thoughts to you and your family as you navigate next steps.
seeyalater52 stick around as long as you need to. I’m so freaking sorry.
I love your room! We don’t have any space for our misshapen tree, other than the entrance/hall that joins the living room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. My dogs ruin the skirt at least twice a day.

If it makes you feel better, I feel your pain but in the opposite direction. 7 months of trying, but only 4 cycles (and one was anovulatory).
seeyalater52 - I'm so, so sorry that things have been so tough for you and your wife lately. I hope she's able to find a new job quickly, and your insurance and house issues get figured out so you can get back to TTC ASAP! You are always welcome here, of course, but I also completely understand the need to step away while you're taking a break.
ttc #2, cYCLE 6? AF due Wednesday. possibly if I make it to Thursday. Last month my period showed three days early. I told myself I wouldn't get my hopes up given how long #1 took, but I keep doing it anyway. Not yet! Plan is to get the tree and star lights out this weekend.

1. Where are you in your journey? TTC #1, Cycle 10, CD25
2. Any testing this week? Maybe this weekend if AF doesn't show.
3. Non-BFP AWs/vents/randoms? This month marks a year of us TTC. Boo.
4. Have you put up your Christmas/holiday decorations yet? Nope! I've barely started Christmas shopping! I've gotta get my act together. We're planning on putting up our tree this weekend. Hope that helps get us into the Christmas spirit!
3. My 10 year anniversary is this weekend! I was looking at the calendar and it seems my next CD1 is due on Christmas so maybe if we’re lucky it could be a Christmas BFP instead?
4. No, I tried to put the wreath on the front door before I left for business travel but it didn’t fit and needs to be adjusted. DH thought I was nuts for wanting to decorate before we move our furniture into the new house but I have a feeling I’ll be decorating in addition to moving said furniture this weekend. 😊
1. Frustrated and fearful...I mean TTC #2 since July Cycle 4 CD36 2. I tested today, with my period 8 days late (3 days later than my usual) BFN 3. My husbands book came in last night and I finally got to see it 4. My hubs put up the outside. We need to get our tree and inside done.
I am not exaggerating when I say that I have seen a pregnancy announcement every single day for the last two weeks. At this point, I'm pretty sure that everyone I've ever known in my entire life is pregnant except for me. If I could just go ONE GODDAMN DAY without seeing one, that would be great.
I can't believe it's December already. This year has gone by so quickly!

1. TTC #2 2. I have my second IUI (first was Monday). I triggered last night at 11 pm. 3. no 4. YES. I LOVE CHRISTMAS. I didn't always love it, because my birthday is monday and always got lost in the holiday shuffle, but I've grown to love christmas.

YES! I'm over it. And CD1 showed up today. Bah humbug.

Co-signed. Are we the same age? It’s been an endless stream of weddings the past couple of years and we’re on year 2 of a completely insane baby boom. I feel like an asshole but I just started unfollowing pregnant friends who post a ton of pregnancy updates.
