1. How did last week go? Last weekend was a little hard. I was stressed and that translated into poor food choices. I'm a little less stressed this week.
2. What are your work out goals for the week? Number? Type? My normal week. But after this weekend I'm going to be switching over to training for a half marathon.
3. What are your food goals for the week? Get back on track.
4. Any non-scale victories? Not really.
Bonus: Has anyone started thinking new years resolutions? Has anyone completed their resolution for this past year? My new years resolution is going to be money related, although that does effect fitness. I may pursue different options with my triathlon coach and I'll probably do fewer races next year, but they'll be longer. I'd like to do a half ironman. After that, I may take a whole year off of doing anything other than foot races and I may pursue cross fit or a cross fit type fitness experience. That's my long term plan.
I haven't been posting much because I felt like my updates were the same every week... but I need accountability through the holidays!
1. How did last week go? Went really well. I was able to get 6 workouts in. Mostly cardio. I've laid off the weights a bit because I think I'm having a rotator cuff issue, and I'm hoping to avoid surgery.
2. What are your work out goals for the week? Number? Type? Hoping for 5 this week, but it will be tough. DD1 had a physical yesterday, so my normal gym time was spent at the pedi with her. I haven't been sleeping more than 3 hours a night, so my plan to get up at 545 to run to the gym today didn't work out. Then plan B was to work out after I dropped DD1 off at school, but she is reacting to her flu vaccine, so that was sort of spoiled as well. I still managed to do a few miles on the treadmill, though, so not a total waste.
3. What are your food goals for the week? Trying to keep things in check before the holidays. Lunches have been salads or vegetable soup. For dinner, I made a lasagna using zucchini noodles instead of pasta and ground chicken breast instead of beef. That will last us a few days.
4. Any non-scale victories? I need to order new jeggings because mine are too loose. And my super tight jeans are getting baggy. I don't know how it happened, but I've managed to lose 3 lbs since the week before Thanksgiving. I'm at like stomach flu weight now.
Bonus: Has anyone started thinking new years resolutions? Has anyone completed their resolution for this past year?
1. How did last week go? Good. I got my workouts in for the week, even though I had to bring all 3 kids with me to the gym on Saturday for P90X. Everyone did great at the gym daycare while I worked out.
2. What are your work out goals for the week? Number? Type? 2 classes - BodyPump and P90X
3. What are your food goals for the week? Keep tracking calories.
4. Any non-scale victories? I increased my weight again in BodyPump last night and I didn't feel like dying!
Bonus: Has anyone started thinking new years resolutions? Has anyone completed their resolution for this past year? I plan to lose my last 10 - 15 pounds of baby weight in 2018 and to keep increasing my weight so I can build some more muscle all around. I hope to get back to running 5k a few times a week. I don't think I had any resolutions for 2017 since I had a baby in March. I think the plan was just to survive and find my groove with 3 kids.
1. Not great last week. I really messed up my eating by eating dinner with DD at 4 as I was starving but then by 8 I was hungry so ate way too much ice cream and Halloween candy before bed like 4 nights running. I also got no walking or anything in as something kept messing with the schedule.
2. Walk twice and mediate each night. My stress/anxiety level is why high right now and it is making me feel just sick to my stomach and I have a major stress headache so hoping my meditation exercises will help.
3. Not eat dinner at 4 and eat after getting back from DD's activities so I don't eat the junk late at night. So far so good. I was eating stuff peppers at 7:30 last night instead of a giant bowl of ice cream.
4. nope
Bonus: I don't' remember if I had goals/resolutions last year. Between the accident and concussion I remember very little of the beginning of 2017 it is all a fuzzy blur. Right now I just want to survive tax season without putting on any weight and once tax season is over I want to get into my kayak or up on my SUP again.

1. I got the 3 CF workouts in but nothing over the weekend. I think the party prepping alone was a workout so I'm trying to be okay with it. I survived foodwise, which is all I wanted. I had no real food goals since I didn't want to go to the grocery store. 2. 3 CF workouts and SOMETHING on the weekend. I am missing tonight's class for a Christmas party, but the friend I'm going with to the party is actually the friend that pushed me to start crossfit, so she suggested we do the workout together sometime this week, so that will get me to my 3. Not sure what the weekend will be. I'm hoping for a PiYo workout! 3. Keep it pretty clean except for tonight and Friday night when I go out with another friend to celebrate her birthday. I don't really WANT to go since I feel bad being away for class 3 days a week, but DH is insisting. 4. Not really yet other than the jeans that were snug BEFORE the holidays started aren't any more snug now? Bonus: I have not. I'll have to see if I can figure out what mine were since I don't even remember!
1. How did last week go? Ok, I'm backing off of RP and getting into the maintenance phase. Which means I'm slacking. I'm ok with that.
2. What are your work out goals for the week? Number? Type? My legs are SO sore from Saturday! I couldn't run or do anything until tonight. So maybe a 3 mile run tomorrow and Thursday, long run Sunday.
3. What are your food goals for the week? Eat..ok.
4. Any non-scale victories? Nope.
Vent: I posted about this in H and F, but just as I celebrated my 12 lb weight loss and before after pics, a lady from work asked me if I was expecting on Friday. This has happened to me 6 times in my life when I was not pregnant. It's happened three times since August. I have remembered each and every occasion, every shirt I wore. Every time I vow to respond "No. what makes you say that?" So that I can make them feel bad but I can never bring myself to do it. I just say no and then ruminate about it instead. F those people. Wtf is wrong with them!
Bonus: Has anyone started thinking new years resolutions? Has anyone completed their resolution for this past year?

Juuuuust in case anyone is interested in taking a look at the goals/resolutions they posted last year, I found them. Because I have nothing better to do and it was really bothering me that I couldn't remember more than 1 of mine lol. www.thencomesfamily.com/community/thread/130064/goal-setting-resolutions-2017

I just looked at mine.
1 I want a baby. --We did talk about it and we decided against it. DH was going to get snipped, but didn't. I screwed up my birth control and now we have an unplanned baby. So wow funny how things work out.
2. Want to run an hour and buy a treadmill-- I managed to get up to 30 minutes running every other day. We did not buy a treadmill, but I did buy an elliptical/ bike combo. I don't HAVE to run anymore and this will be useful for when DH is out of town and I can't go anywhere or leave the house to work out.
3. Pay off my student loan. --- I DID IT! I paid it off in Late October!!!! yay!!!!
1.How did last week go? Last week went pretty well. I managed to get in all my workouts and my diet was mostly decent.
2. What are your work out goals for the week? Number? Type? 3 runs and 3 HIT/strength training workouts
3. What are your food goals for the week? Consistently make good food choices and drink at least 64 oz of water daily
4. Any non-scale victories? Not this week
Bonus: Has anyone started thinking new years resolutions? Has anyone completed their resolution for this past year? Just looked at my goals from last year. Thanks erinshelley21 for posting! I'm still sucking at making time for my relationship with DH. I seriously need to work on that. I started volunteering but need to do that more regularly. I could still be better with quality time with the kids but feel like overall I have made improvements there.

LOl, erinshelley21, last year's goals plus my status:
1) Do not fall to pieces during maternity leave. Accept help. Leave the house, ever. SUCCESS!! I had a MUCh better maternity leave this time around
2) Get back into a romantic relationship with DH. Right now we're co-parents and BFFs. We need to work on being boyfriend and girlfriend! HUGE FAILURE. Meh.
3) Kick as much ass as I can when I return from maternity leave, while keeping a reasonable work-life balance (whatever that looks like with an infant and a toddler). I don't even know what that means, but I think I am doing ok with wok/home balance. The "life" part... I don't know
4) Keep moving. Do not let "being busy" get in the way of "being healthy." SUCCESS! I have absolutely prioritized hitting the gym despite being busy.

Last week - went well. I think I managed to squeeze in 4 workouts? This week - on target for 3 weekday CF workouts, and one on the weekend. Doing a good job with meal planning. TRYING to work on portion control. I struggle bad here. I'm always hungry. I need to fuel intense workouts, and also breastfeeding/pumping, without going overboard.
NSV - I committed to doing a Savage Race in the spring. Next step... register.

1. Make my house pretty on the inside. I haven't put things on the walls since I painted the living room in May. - This has gotten better! 2. Like shakinros, I want to reach acceptance with my job situation. Once the asshole leaves, my pay will increase significantly and make it more tolerable. Part of this will be focusing on the lines of insurance I sell besides crop. - I started to reach acceptance, then we found a dream come true solution and I'll be onto the next chapter at the end of next summer! 3. Run in one 5k before the end of 2017. Maybe 2. - Did not start running again. Tried. Just couldn't make it a habit. 4. Get back on my ADD medication before thanksgiving. This means only bf'ing DD for 6 or 7 months and I need to be okay with it. - I did do this and have no regrets! 5. Put more in our kids' education fund. We are starting with one big one then splitting it up when we are done having kids. - Didn't put more in really, but I did send the enrollment forms off today! 6. See my friends more often. - I think this did improve. 7. Spend more quality time with my H and actually use the At-Home Date jar I made him for Valentines Day 2014. - At-Home date jar was never opened, but we have gotten more quality time than I expected with a baby and preschooler. We are actually in a really good place right now. 8. Craft and bake more. Those 2 things make me happy and I don't do them nearly enough. - LOL to thinking I'd have time to craft and bake with a baby. I've done a couple crafty things, but not as many as I think 2016 erinshelley was hoping for.
