Uterine Polyp

So, shit. I have a polyp. I have been having lots of spotting/bleeding so went in for an ultrasound. I should have it removed ASAP and she said I will be out of commission for a day or two. Has anyone had to deal with this? Thanks.

No experience, but wanted to say good luck.
Dh has a few polyps in his colon and it was no big deal to remove them so hopefully you’ll bounce right back.

It should be no big deal...I should be fine...but the procedure doesn't sound fun and does require me to be put under. It's outpatient but I'm supposed to have help for 2 days. Just wondering how the recovery is. Of course, we are SWAMPED right now with birthday parties and Christmas activities, plus DH trying to wrap up his work year.

No experience here either but sorry you are dealing with this, like gastro said, at this time of year! Hopefully if they said you'll "need help" for a couple of days doesn't mean you'll be out of commission completely!
