- Pass the PHR certification exam. - I abandoned this goal because of my change in job focus, worked on another certification instead, failed my first attempt at the exam, am taking it again in February. - Continue making improvements with my anxiety. - I would say that I definitely succeeded at this. I got on a freaking plane this year! - Develop a daily yoga routine. - I was doing well at this for a while, then I let life get in the way. I've started getting into it again, but I'm not back up to daily practice yet. - Cut soda out of my diet. - Done. - Read 24 books. - Done. - Start TTC. - Done.

1. Start working out with a trainer again - nope. Oops lol. 2. Pay off the medical bills and at least one student loan - Done! 3. Read at least 10 books - nope. I think I maybe read 3-5. Oh well. 4. Declutter and organize the house - Ha. Ok, it's better than it was, but still.. 5. TTC #2 - Done! 6. Spend more time on hobbies and less time on my computer/phone or watching TV - Kinda. I started crocheting more earlier in the year but started slacking over the last few months.

- get back into running- I did a little bit here and there. Did really well until potty training in july. - lose 5- 10 lbs- I lost it but have gained it back. I am adding this and getting back into running as my goals for 2018. - have more "me time"- more than previous years. I at least go to bunco 1x/month - get involved with a MOPS group- nope but that’s mostly because our MOPS group is too much $$$ - breastfeed until at least 12 months- done and still going strong at 14.5 months - go on a few dates with DH- done - family vacation (as long as it's financially possible)- not financially realistic. But we were just talking yesterday about planning a trip for next summer, possible Colorado but maybe somewhere a little more kid friendly.
Hahaha I was realistic last year and didn't make any goals. This last year has been crazy!
I fee ya friend! Two little kids doesn’t leave much time for many things. And then with all your DHs job stuff. You still had an awesome year and are killing it raising your girls!
1: Eliminate food waste from our lifestyle Not entirely successful because of toddlers, but as adults we did WAY better! .8 2: Be caught up on scrapbooks by end of 2017 Ehhh, closer, but not done. I'm taking it to my mom's for Christmas though so there is still hope .7 3: Read at least 6 books (this is low because of my new sewing hobby I do every evening) YES, 7 done and in the middle of 8 and 9 right now. 1 4: Decrease our dining out and grocery budget to $700 total per month (averaged over the year) No Total fail. 0 5: Keep our outside property more fully maintained in summer months. Yep! My husband did awesome this year. I decorated for fall and christmas, too. Maybe in 2018 we could add in some flowers. 1 6: Don't be a bitch to him when my H has work travel Well, he didn't have much this year but I handled it like a champ and planned my own trips to equal his. It worked great. 1 7: Don't buy clothes for myself. I literally need nothing. Pretty sure this was a win. I did buy bras but my boobs deflated 3 sizes so it couldn't be helped. Everything else I sewed myself 1 8: Perfect my neckband sewing skill YES, got it pretty damn good. 1
So, let's grade academically. 6.5/8= 81%. B. lol. Not awful.
Oh good! I apparently didn't put any 2017 resolutions in writing!
My goals for the year were to: 1) Read more - was doing well on this for the first half of the year, but I've gotten lazy. I blame a couple of bad books that I just couldn't get into. 2) Volunteer - I found an organization in January that interests me and fits with my schedule so I've been volunteering all year!

I didn’t put anything in writing either lol.
I’m glad that I worked on my mental health in 2017. I’m not 100% where I want to be but I’m getting there slowly. I’m on no medications, using natural supplements as needed and actually talking to DH.
I can't believe I didn't do goals this year! I love doing them.
I achieved the goals I set for myself but apparently didn't put in writing: 1. Survive H's job loss without having to sell our house (it came close...but done). 2. Earn 80 more hours toward a certification exam and sit for the exam (done; get my scores in Feb). 3. Volunteer for a national committee (done). 4. Apply for an industry award (done, and I got it! Reception is tomorrow.) 5. Take a vacation if H gets a job (done).
1. Lose ~20lbs. -nope I gained weight in the end. 😕
2. Get the renos to our upstairs in our house done, and get the place rented out. -did renos, but didn't rent it out.
3. Make an actual budget and stick to it. -didn't make the budget, urg
4. Finish the landscaping and such to our yard at our place. (Zero-scape front yard, install underground sprinklers in back yard, reseed grass, etc) -didn't zero scape but sold the house instead.
5. Train for a 10K in Oct of 2017. With a goal of approx 1hr. - ran it but didn't hit the 1 hr goal
6. Read 10 books (I like how lots of us have reading goals) - yep, I am not sure how many I actually read but I did at least 10
7. Buy a second house. One in our new city, move to new city, and get settled in by the end of the year. - done!
Things didn't turn out how we planned but that's ok, we got the important things dealt with.

Hmm...I didn't list any there.
I definitely had a goal written down for myself to get our wills/estate planning done. Also, to do 10 pull-ups. For the wills/estate planning, I accomplished that to the point it nearly drove me nuts. We ended up having to do it TWICE. Once the wills were done, we realized there was one small change we wanted to make (or so we thought). H and I had a legal benefit through our employer that expired at the end of the year, so we went back to the lawyer to make the change. We ended up having to totally re-do them with two weeks left in the year, which meant drudging up a lot of those conversations again. In happier news, I did my 10 (well, maybe 9.5) strict pullups!
wanderingenough, ugh, that's been on my resolution to-do list forever. Did you guys just do wills or did you do a trust as well? (If you don't mind me asking. Ignore if you do!) I keep thinking we will need a trust and can't seem to find anyone locally that meets our needs.

So round one was just wills/guardian/etc., and then we ended up completely re-doing with joint revocable trusts in round two. If you want to FB message me I can get you all the deets. We got wayyyy down into the nitty gritty so I'm sure I can answer whatever you got! Haha!

Also ewall, if your employer has a legal benefit it ended up being totally worth it for us. We did round one for the cost of the benefit in one year and round two the next. They technically were both in 2017 the way our employee benefits worked out this year.
