I got hurt yesterday while I was loading groceries, so when I got home, I left them all in my vehicle and had MH bring them in when he got home. I'm glad I didn't push myself to do it like I usually would have because it still feels worse today, so I can only imagine how much worse I would have made it. One perk of this cold weather is my milk was fine to sit in the vehicle for hours. Today, I am aiming to soak in the tub.
Last week, I got to some stuff around the house, like putting up more shelves in the storage room then filling them with the boxes that had been sitting around my rec room. We also finally bought tile to redo the foyer; it's going to look 1000 times better.
We have company coming this weekend, which will be nice. Bonus is that I only mainly have dishes, laundry, and vacuuming to do. Not looking forward to dishes because I have a scrape on my hand. Also not looking forward to vacuuming because I hurt, but at least I only need to vacuum the small rug in the guest room. Excited to finally finish decorating for Christmas too this week.

Last week: I managed to exercise twice on the treadmill. DH brought in the treadmill inside from the patio because I want to watch our tv while I exercised. The apartment gym has their tv's set up wrong.
Diet has been thrown out the window mostly with DH and his need for proteins and doughnuts. DS and I finally moved in with DH the day before Thanksgiving. I think diet is going to be the hardest struggle for me.
I have been watching lots of cable tv while doing chores and exercising.
I am not really hung up about getting a new job though. DH wants me to get one and I just have not found one that would give me the balance I had at my old job. I don't miss my boss because she was mean to me.
This week: I think I am finally caught up on all the errands to settle into our new home for DH, DS and I.
I did exercise once yesterday.
I am considering what kind of cookies to make with DS for Santa Claus. I am so torn between chocolate chip or peanut butter.
I am behind in brain storming our holiday ornament making tradition with DS.

I was doing good for a while getting all our presents done early, but I've slacked off a lot so hopefully I'll catch back up this weekend. I kind of wish Christmas was over so life could get back to normal, but DS is so excited about it and I love seeing him so happy.

mamaturtle, I wanted to just buy cookies for Santa, but DS saw kids making cookies on YouTube and now that's what he wants to do so I'm having to figure out what type of cookies I want too. Lol

I’ve been steadily getting better, but workouts have had to be cancelled because of a lot of things going on with DS. I will probably post separately about that when I can catch my breath.
It seems my hobby is ferrying my elderly parents to the doctor. Mother sees her retina specialist on Friday; she's got possible bleeding behind her macula. Her vision has been really wonky lately and I wonder if her days of driving are about to come to a close. And she's the "healthy" one. Dad sees his geriatric psychiatrist today and his neurologist on Monday.
I walked a couple times last week and shoveled snow once because getting the snowblower out seemed daunting. DS had caught his annual cold from the snotty little kids on the train and passed it onto DH and now me. I am seriously behind in my shopping and still haven't decorated my trees. My big tree fell as I was trimming it so I went out and bought a $100 tree stand from Germany which DS promptly broke. It's holding, but sheesh, $100 it should be sturdier.

Self care has been pretty much non-existent this week because DD2 has been sick with a nasty cold that turned into an ear and sinus infection
Last week DH and I went to his work holiday party, and we had so much fun. I was dreading it because, you know, work people, but they had champagne, and we stayed at the hotel. I think it had been about 4 years since we had a night away from the kids together, so it was much needed.
