Today is going to be crazy busy. Meetings all day, work potluck and white elephant exchange, and then a caregiver support group to run in the evening.

I'm going to be in NJ for Christmas! Looking at the 10 day forecast has me a little nervous. I need to go buy a turtleneck or two and stop stressing.

I'll be home for Christmas...if I can manage, I'll do a traditional seven fishes dinner for Christmas eve, but I've threatened Chinese takeout for Christmas day, and DH has not complained about that idea.

I have some workshops tonight with an out-of-town instructor that I'm looking forward to, and then I need to make some cookie dough!

I am basically camping out at the public library today. The amount of homework I need to get done by xmas is almost laughable. I do this to myself every semester, so you would think I would learn by now but nope, here I sit stressing out.

My youngest sister, who lives in Vegas, is coming home for xmas and staying till the 29th. I took that week off work so I could hang with her. We are doing a private tour of the new stadium since she has not seen it yet. Also have a couple new restaurants we are going to try out. If we have some decent weather that week we are also going to try to get a day of skiing in. We shall see.

Hi mags!

My BIL was hoping he could come home for Christmas this year. I had mentioned here before that he has been going through cancer treatments. Well - his labs are looking very good, and his doctors have told him that they see no reason why he can't come here if he feels well enough to do so.
So...We're going to get to see him! I can't wait! <3

Things with bf are great right now, and work is great too. It feels good to be happy and not have overwhelming anxiety anymore!

I'm currently laying out everything I need for wedding day (OMG you guys, my makeup collection looks like I robbed a Sephora) and honeymoon (so.many.layers).

I am a weather-stalking fiend right now. Our wedding forecast looks like a cold, winter day. I'm just happy there's snow! Our honeymoon spot (Breckenridge) is somehow WARMER than it is in PA at the moment. They have a few days to get their act together so we can ski more than a handful of slopes (they're supposed to get snow tonight though!).
