Boardwalk Empire (Season 2) question

So I was hoping to watch the full season 2 on HBO on demand, but they now only have the last three (10-12) episodes. I caught episode 1 last night and then the next day they got rid of that full season 2 except 10-12.

Anyway, I want to know what went down with Van Holden? and his love child. I just saw that he got divorce papers and a nanny? What happened? What went down?

Fill me in on anything else....the strike, new plans.

I am in the same boat and I watched all of last season and the premiere. What happened? Now he is an iron salesman under a different name and with his nanny? And there is a boy and girl baby? Abigail is the love child, right? How many years have passed?

Really? You post a spoiler for those of us who haven't watched the first episode of season 3 in a thread for SEASON 2? I know it's not a major spoiler, but come on.
