So I turned 49 today and it's freaking me out

I did not freak out at 29, 30, 40 but for some reason 49 and the thought of 50 is freaking me out. Sigh.

I get how you feel. I will be 49 in September and don't know how in the hell I got this old! I remember when I was younger how I thought 50 was so old and now I'm almost there myself. Doesn't seem possible.

mortomo, that's exactly it. Crazy. How did we get this "old"? Then again, I look at my parents, who are in their mid-70s and they are super active, so it's not like we're really "old". Sigh.
