Play hats. My kids love dress up hats. Love them. But so far, the storage solutions I’ve tried have been a bust. Any ideas? Beyond throwing them in a toy bin, which is looking like a great option right now.
For real hats and gloves since we live in the north, I bought the multi clip hangers. It has 4 rows of 2 clips and I put a hat or gloves on each clip. I have 4 of these. There are also hangers with just 2 clips.
I also have a cheap plastic 3 drawer thing I bought like 20 years ago. It has games in it now for the playroom, but it previously had dress up stuff in it. The catch is my kids very rarely play dress up, so I should probably purge all that stuff anyway.
I also have those adhesive hooks on the wall for the dress up clothes that the kids don't play with.

waverly has some great ideas. You could also find a small/child's clothes tree.
We've been organizing and DH hung a peg board on the wall in the toy room to hang all of DS's nerf guns. You could do a peg board for hats, although that might take up a lot more wall space than what you want.
Shoved in a cube and on in the cube storage bin. I keep thinking of ditching it as she doesn't play with it and then she pulls it all out and plays with it for a few days again.
I went with the box option. It isn’t ideal since they have a couple of hats that get squished (like a top hat that DS got at DD’s birthday tea party), but it’s working for now.
We have a large bin in the closet with all dress up clothes. For winter gear we have the closet maid cubbies (6 cubes) shelf in our coat closet with everything in the bins.
