Sweetie...I'm a mom and I'm speaking for all mom's...go get married, let everything go according to schedule as much as possible, she'll be there as soon as she can, as well as she can.

I’m sorry. Try to enjoy this special day. Hopefully your mom will join you in a bit. I’m sure she won’t want to miss it. 💕. Try to relax and enjoy your day.
I'm so sorry, but I really hope you enjoy your day as much as you can and that your mom gets better fast! I can't wait to see pictures and hear all about it!
So my dad came back to the hotel and got her clothes. She changed at the clinic and they’re going to leave from there to make it out to the church. We should be able to delay until they get there. She’ll have to go back afterward bc since she had indigestion before she started throwing up they’re insisting on checking her heart more thoroughly.
Oh and the makeup lady put Lipsense on me. So someone is gonna have to tell me how to get it the fuck off later.
Oh shit. I would honestly send someone to a drugstore to get some Neutrogena bar soap because regular makeup remover will NOT work. It needs to be the glycerin bar, not a face wash.
I hope the rest of your day goes smoothly! Can't wait to see pics!
On my wedding day my stepfather had some scar tissue suddenly band together and form a blockage in his intestines/stomach/something I can’t remember.
My mom ended up missing a good chunk of my wedding and reception.
We did everything according to schedule and she came when she could and left when she needed to get back to the hospital.
I’m sure it was a terrible day for her but I honestly remember very little of it. I don’t have memories of her coming and going and I still have many pics with her included. It was as though she was there and never missed a thing. Weird how thE mind works since of course I know she was not.
I’m so sorry your mom is sick and what a rotten day for it to happen on but it is still YOUR day and it will still be fabulous.
Best wishes for a fantastic wedding and wonderful life ahead. And speedy recovery to your mom.
She made it!! And everything went as well as could be expected. One carload got stuck in the snow temporarily but got unstuck and still made it. My parents got a little lost but again, ultimately made it. My hands are frozen from taking pictures outside for an hour. So Mom went back to the clinic for her fluids and additional heart tests and we’re headed back into town now. Fingers crossed we don’t get stuck and no one else gets sick!
