Great update! I can't imagine how you WOULDN'T be disappointed about how things went, but it sounds like you handled everything with incredible grace. I'm so glad your mom got great news. Timing was horrible and yet good, since you could be with her. I hope that all of the craziness is now behind you and you can begin your lives as blissfully happy newlyweds!

Great update on your Mom!
PS - I know this isn’t the point, but I was super impressed with your parents for working together to get through this hurdle. I come from a family of divorced parents and am not sure if mine would have acted the same. Kudos to them!

They’ve been separated for 31 years and divorced for 21 so they’ve had time. And my dad never held any ill will toward my mom, he was the cheater. And my mom has come to terms with everything. My dad has always still cared for my mom and has helped her out a lot in various ways over the years. Like driving HER mom from DE to NC to visit and then move. He’s a good guy to have around when shit goes down.

Congratulations on your wedding.
Now the true test of family dynamics will be when this becomes the story - will it be "Remember when Mom almost ruined TR's wedding" or "Remember when your wedding almost killed mom?"

Oh H has said he’s going to retell it as how he gave his MIL a heart attack by marrying her daughter, lol.
