2018 Randoms

Did you make any resolutions? One word? Have anything exciting happening in 2018?

I hope 2018 is uneventful, it’s seems that we have had a good run of bad luck, and I’m hoping that 2018 is the end of it and our luck will turn around. I hope to take a warm vacation with DH this year as it’s our 15 year anniversary.

I think I’m going to try the one word idea. I saw some activities to help you narrow it down so I think I will try those.

I’m hoping to focus on improving my health, my teaching practice, and my relationships.

To be totally honest, this has to be a "shit or get off the pot" kind of year for me. I can't put it off any longer. My job/career, my marriage, etc. I need to go all in or make some changes. 2017 was a tough one for me mentally and emotionally and I have kept way too much in.

I have two words: Financial Recovery.

2017 was a very expensive year for us, with building/moving into our new house, all the start-up costs that went along with it, and DS in full-time daycare for most of the year. We're just starting to rebound a bit year but our level of debt is much higher than I'd like it to be, so I'm hoping we can make a big dent in that in 2018.

Tried the one word deal last year but meh...wasn't into it. Didnt make an impact at all.

I am so cliched with resolutions...lol.
I do think the New year is great time to be positive and reflect and start anew. I am starting a bucket list for the year that is a new addition to my usual get fit, eat better, save money, clean/organize/purge!! I'm boring
