DS had had a cold for the last 10 days. (no fever) This morning I called the pedi for an afternoon appt, he's showing signs of ear infection. Then DC called & said I had to come get him, pink eye is going around & DS is showing signs.
Now I'm home snuggling with him until the appt in a few hours.

Farmer- sorry to hear you guys are sick too Glad N is feeling better, get yourself to the doctor too.
I have a love/hate relationship with daycare. I love that he has fun with his friends/classmates, he's learning so much. I hate that they're getting him sick, it's happening more often now that he's mobile.
Ask for the drops if they okay it. DS was prescribed ointment the first time he had conjunctivitis and it was extremely stressful to get in his eye. Hope he feels better soon.

Signing in as a +1. DS was sent home with a fever today. He has been in daycare for 4 weeks and has been sick for 3 of those and missed 5 days of daycare. How do people without family nearby handle all the missed work?

We're back, eye infection & ear infection. Has to stay home tomorrow too.
Bacon- DH & I alternate who stays home. Even though M's been sick a lot he's only missed a few days of daycare. (Mostly he's had colds so he can still go)
Mishy- that sucks, hope she is feeling better now!
Lucy's first year at daycare was ROUGH sickness wise. The second year was totally a breeze--just an occasional minor cold (and rarely something she needed to stay at home for).
I have caught pink eye a few times. Yuck. Hope you avoid it!
I hope we have the same luck, I keep telling myself it will get better after he hits 1 year
