I'm way too far inland to get that hurricane of snow, but it's still brutally cold and is getting even worse for the next 3 days. I'm so happy to be working from home this week!
I have a stash of items I need to photograph and get listed on FB sale pages - wedding crap and horse stuff that's too small for Owen. I want my basement space back! It'll probably be my lunchtime project.

It looks like it's staying east of us so far, so I think we're good. Stay safe, doglove! I'm heading to visit my parents and BFF this weekend, though, and when I just checked the weather, the HIGH for both Friday and Saturday was 2 degrees. Whyyyyyyyyyyy am I doing this to myself, and why would anyone voluntarily choose to live where it's that cold (ahem, bullygirl979)?! There's also snow in the forecast every day there, but that's to be expected and won't be a big deal.

udscoobychick, LOLOLOLOL. P brought that up the other day and I was all ummm. Dude. I JUST got a promotion. We can't leave now. Give it a few years and we can move. Although, I was kind of all YESSSS because I emailed my boss prior to the holiday to wish her a nice one and she responded with the like and put this at the end: I am looking forward to working with you for many years to come…

chalupa, forget to tell you...no Xmas wedding in our future. We talked with brother and SIL last night and if the kids don't return to Jordan, they won't be home for Xmas. So, June or bust. LOL.
It's cold here but we aren't supposed to get any snow or ice. I decided to work from home today because who needs to go out in this cold if they don't have to?!?!
I was thinking I might take down my Christmas decorations today but on second thought I think I'll leave them up until this weekend. I'd like to enjoy them for just a little while longer.
I was supposed to have a date tonight with first class seat guy. He texted this morning to say he has to go to Savannah because of the storm. He manages the truck fleet for his company and one of the uses is storm prep. He was really apologetic which I thought was sweet but I'm not pushing the reschedule. If he does that's all on him at this point.

I've been reminding DH of my/our plans to retire in the Caribbean to escape the cold...unfortunately, when I was checked my 401K this morning, it was still about 20x less than I need to retire on, so that won't be happening anytime soon!

My hope is to stay with my company and find another remote position somewhere a little warmer!

When I first read this I thought, "she's only $20k away from retirement?!!?!?!" And I was so jealous!

Hahaha...sure, if I only expect retirement to last, like, 3 years lol. Otherwise, I'll be work for a bit longer!

I'm here, back at work today. It's not good when you just get back to work and immediately start thinking that you need a new job, is it?
I'm obviously far from the bomb cyclone. It's a little overcast here today, but I can't complain. There's so much to do!! I think I just want another couple weeks of vacation and then I'd be ready to come back. Maybe.
Everyone stay safe out there! And do your best to stay warm, too, of course.
I just finished up watching a boring ass webinar were the presenter actually yawned not once, or twice but three times during the presentation. LMFAO!
I know the storm that is coming to the east coast is bad but I am kind of like "oh buck up people" because we have been sitting at like -40 windchill factors for days up here in the north.
Eta: I am not referring to specific people here, more like society in general.
