And I think no acids. I've been using Pixi's Glow Tonic for a while, and I like it well enough, but I'm already using 2 other acids (TO's lactic acid 5% and azelaic acid). I had been alternating the Pixi toner and the TO LA as my step after cleansing at night, before serums.
I was thinking something more soothing yet also gets off the last of the makeup that my cleanser always seems to leave behind. Like a rose water toner? At least for winter.
Eta: my skin is combination, and dehydrated but TO is fixing that. My skin concerns are brightening and anti-aging (light wrinkles) but I'm also TTC.
I love the Paula's Choice RESIST toner. Antioxidants and skin-soothing ingredients. I can't speak to removing traces of makeup, since my skin does better when I don't use cotton so I press it into my face instead.
Me too but it's not there to remove makeup (you shouldn't need anything other than the 2 step cleaning method - oil and foam/micellar). It's great for getting a boost of moisture into the skin. I put it in my palms and pat on my face versus using cotton.
I like Thayers Natural (Whole Foods). I'm using the lavender one now, but they have a rose water formula too. I use it in the AM and then use TO Glycolic at night.

Agreed.
another creamy toner like this is Miss Flower and Mr. Honey toner.
If you want kind of a micellar water/toner combo, get the Son & Park Beauty Water. It’s at Sephora but online retailers often have a better price.
ETA: Even the full price isn’t bad since the bottle is huge.
A friend gave me a sample bottle of this stuff last month and I really enjoyed it, but I'm so confused about how it works as a multi-purpose product.
I’ve seen demos online where they will use it with a cotton pad to remove the last bits of makeup, with their hands as a toner, and then with a peeled-apart cotton pad as a mask (drench the one layer of cotton in the liquid, then smooth it on the face). There’s a certain kind of cotton pad that’s made to be peeled but it’s not sold in American drugstores.
HEB has Thayers in the natural beauty section. SaveSave
No HEB either! Sad, I know! United reigns supreme in west Texas.
I'm going to look at prices and availability for all of these recs. Thank you all!
That's a bummer! They are so ubiquitous here that I forget they aren't really all over TX. Theyers is really common, though, so check your grocery store if you want to try it and don't want to order. SaveSave
