Its a color you really need to do a swatch of before painting the whole room. We have it in several spots in our house. They all look very different depending on the lighting. Its a very soft putty color in my living room, that gets a ton of light. Very tan in my bathroom with no windows and very gray in my basement. So, I think seeing picture is helpful, but you really have to throw it on your own walls to see what it does.

I've seen pics of Revere Pewter in houses and really liked it, but our living room was RP when we bought it and it "read" as more off-white. We repainted to a slightly darker tone, Pashmina, and love it.
We did revere pewter as our main colour in our new build and I really, really love it; it's just saturated enough to be a "colour", while still being neutral.
Before settling on it, I was sure I wanted pashmina, but once I saw swatches in person I felt it would be a bit too dark and would read slightly greener than I liked in our home.
One thing I love about the revere pewter is how it goes both ways between being cool and warm depending on the light and one what else you have around it. It reads a perfect "warm gray" in our house, which was just what we were looking for.
dr.girlfriend , if you look at our pics in the same frame, they look like two totally different colors of paint! How crazy.
Yeah...I didn't paint it myself so I don't know if they tried to get by with one coat or something, but the previous owner definitely rattled off all the paint colors in the house so I believe her when she said it was Revere Pewter.
To me, Pashmina looked really beige on the swatch, but is a nice warm grey on the walls. It definitely read as more of a "color" when painting over the Revere Pewter. But I've seen plenty of pictures of RP where it looks great, so as always, YMMV. :-)
I looked for a gray paint for two years. I resisted using RP because, on the swatch card, it didn't look gray to me. Then I was in a house, with an open floor plan and it was the perfect shade of gray. It was RP. I bought a sample and when I opened the can, it looked like a light tan. Then I painted a swatch on the wall and it looked tan. As it dried, it turned to gray. I love it. It has never looked anything but gray to me or any of my guests.

This x 100%! Our seller painted the whole house Revere Pewter and I can't tell you what color it really is. It depends on sunlight and light bulb shades. It can range from nice light grey (sunny living room) to the worst tan with a green tint (bathroom).
Here's the realtor pictures of our house. I think it reads lighter than real life in these photos. I have been slowly painting over RP.

we just (2 weeks ago) painted our dining room and kitchen revere pewter. I agree that depending on the light depends on how it looks. I can take some pictures tonight to share. we also painted our LR Edgecomb Gray and I'll grab some pictures of that as well for you
