The cops just came to ask us questions about our neighbors. They're doing a well check because of unusual/suspicious stuff at their house and no one can get ahold of them. It totally is freaking me out because I saw a creepy, old car running in their driveway at 12:30am the other night and even woke my husband up to tell him how bizarre it was. Of course the police aren't going to update me and now I'm curious if they got ahold of them and if they're okay. I don't have their phone number.

Oh gosh....that would freak me out too I hope they're OK. Y'all be careful!!!

I've gained all the weight I lost over Christmas. It WAS due to a 24-hour stomach bug...but still.

I'd put this in the H/F post, but I feel like I wouldn't have enough stuff to regularly contribute to that.

This afternoon a man in a sketchy work van and no labels came and took photos of the neighbor's front and side doors. For a while I assumed it was a police associated locksmith preparing to enter the home, but it's been like 4 hours and no further activity. It is just all so odd. I really believe they're on vacation and I don't want to be dramatic....but I watch so many crime shows. My imagination is running wild. lol.

Good and bad news today.

Good: I just found out I won't be working Saturdays anymore! Whoo hoo!

Bad: Also found out I don't get my bonus or raise until I'm back at work in April. Boo! I need my bonus for bills! Lol, oh well I guess. At least this bonus will be good. Next year's will be lower with me out for 1/4 the year!

katespade- I hope the rest of the renos don't take too long, I'm sorry you had to cancel your trip because of it. And happy dating anniversary!

krystee- yay for a day to yourself! And yes I plan vacations all of the time, and we never go on them. 😞

estrellita- I hate when I do a phone update and things change! Urg. Dh and I both got new phones on Tuesday and as much as I like the new one it's driving me crazy. It's just hard to get used to.

MrsMB- I need to get back on the fitness bandwagon. Urg!

We are currently at the ils again, in our hometown. We didn't get to see most of our friends at Christmas and I needed to make a couple appointments here so we decided to come back sooner then expected. It's been a good trip. But now it's time to go home tomorrow and the weather is supposed to be horrible on the mountain passes. Hopefully it won't be too bad, and if it is we will either stay an extra day here or drive half way and get a hotel if it's that bad. (Most of the weather is closer to our home then here)

estrellita they held my bonus until I returned, too! I was all WTF, that bonus is for last year and I worked the entire year! Oh well.

I have a presentation due next Friday. Last night, my boss tells me he wants it THIS MORNING. So, currently in PowerPoint hell.

Also the power company is out stringing new lines and poles so all my bitching to them last year about outages may have gotten the point across.

So, I had a pap smear with my new OB/GYN (who is AWESOME...so right move on my part).

She's down there doing her thing:

Doc: SO, where are you are from?

Me: God's Country (no, I really said the state name there)

Doc: Oh, do you pull for Aub or Al?

Me: Al...that's why my voice is still a little hoarse.

Doc: I'm a GA fan...AAAAND I was at the game. Took us two hours to get into the stadium. Two hours to get out. It was AWFUL. (If you don't follow college football, we played her team Monday night) 

Me: (Feels intense fear) Oh, I'm so sorry...(insert random rambling about how well they played)

That's intense while someone's up in your business.

ewall hi! I've been so busy lately. I'm trying to check in more.

MrsMB- lol! I can imagine.

We just got home from visiting family and I'm so happy the roads were not as predicted at all. (Supposed to have 20+ cm of snow, but got maybe 1-2cm) Now there's so much laundry and such to do before I return to work tomorrow. I need a holiday after my days off.

I'm glad I'm not working until noon tomorrow.

This week has been so busy! I woke up early to run errands now I’m home relaxing. Later our friends are coming over for dinner. My girl is also coming over to cut and dye my hair.

Our friend is graduating from the FDNY academy while we are on vacation so I’m making an ice cream cake to celebrate early tonight.

I had a BOGO DQ blizzard coupon, and was totally going to go, but it's snowing. So I decided not worth it. Now I'm thinking about it again, but they close in 6 minutes.
