Where is everyone?

Apparently our cat can catch mice but does not know how to kill them.  Don't ask me how I found out.  I'm kind of hoping he has figured it out while we were at work today.

Ugh today has been the worst. Foster pup had diarrhea all last night in the house - she woke us up but could not make it to the door, poor thing. London can't walk at all, he's been declining a lot over the past week since we got home from our Christmas trip and he's eating all the meds that usually help him improve. I was stuck literally trying to carry him back to the house this morning while the foster dog was sick everywhere. I'm running on a two week migraine and waiting to hear if I can get a steroid pack.

Is it the weekend yet? OMG.

I'm hanging in there, but feel like I'm fighting something that wants to become a sinus infection. The guy I'm saying brought me chicken soup last night and it helped a little. I think Indian food for lunch today will help too. Sleeping a ton has been the most helpful thing, of course.

Tonight I'm going to an alumni event at our local humane society where we'll get to hang out with some of the dogs. I'm really looking forward to it.

Thanks to you and udscoobychick. The whole situation with him is so crappy. I fear if he's not improving anymore with drugs that it is a very bad sign. I just wish we could catch a break with our pets.

sorry to hear about the both dogs doglove.

I just spent 25 minutes on the phone with fitbit trying to get my brand new one to work. Considering it only counted a total of 78 steps for the entire day yesterday, that tells me it is busted.
They are sending me a replacement, which is nice, but I am just annoyed by how long the phone conversation took.

Next up is finding a new psychiatrist. My current one up and left the practice at the end of the year, without any warning. Thanks buddy. I am scared to hear how long the wait is to get into a new one.

I spent today at a stained glass shop picking out glass colors it was so much fun. It was a much needed escape from the office.

I made it through all of my work emails before I left the office this afternoon. That’s the first time this week.

Please let Friday hurry up and get here.

Just got home from Charlotte. Well, about an hour ago. Have an 8am flight to FLL tomorrow. I’ll be home tomorrow night, thank goodness. If only I didn’t have meetings starting at 9am Friday morning

So the cat they had us meet was not so much about it, but I was able to get her out and interacting. I was purring at her to help her feel calm and safe and they all thought it was her! She was gigantic. I was calling her a mini panther. I would love to hang out with her more. I can't adopt another cat, but it was tempting.
