I am so tired today. Work has been really busy, but it's not the crazy busy of the last job. I'm grateful for that.

Really looking forward to a fun time with doriswe this weekend. My life has been a little boring lately so a mini road trip and drinks with some good people sounds amazing. Bday girl!

I'm glad you're coming!! It should be a good time even though I'm a little panicky about the mix of people and making sure everyone has a good time. Cop has been doing boyfriend-y type tasks which is weird and I need to address it with him but it's such a weird conversation.

DS is home sick and I'm taking him to the doctor today and then working from home. My new supervisor says "do whatever you need to do" which is nice change of pace!

I'm kicking into high gear for planning for next week's event at school (a week of kind acts). A little stressed, but things are coming together!

We got a whole 1" of snow, and no one can figure out how to drive safely. In between the people going unnecessarily slow on well-treated, cleared roads, you get the asshole who was super-tailgating me in the right lane this morning (I was behind another car, so I really couldn't go any faster. Plus, move the eff over to the left lane if you want to pass.). It was a bad mix. Thankfully, I made it to work safely.

I’m in the ER waiting to hear what’s going on with some pain I have been having in my chest. Might be a possible blood clot. Ugh, when it rains it pours.

I’ve got a snow day. The city is snowy/icy and the windchill says it feels like 1 degree out. I’m in bed and reading.

Thanks guys, it was what I initially thought - a pulled muscle in my chest from trying to carry London last week. They ruled out pneumonia and a blood clot so they gave me an injection of anti-inflammatory and prescription Advil and send me on my way. I feel better after the injection. And I got to enjoy the snow we got today (almost 6 inches!) with A and Penny. Looks like I have at least half a day of work off tomorrow, they’ll make the call in the morning if they’ll cancel the whole day.

I hit my productivity goal today. I will hit it tomorrow too as I have to be at work until 7 because two of my locations are converting to SAP on Friday.

We had snow today that was created by the power plant. It was really cool.

I’m stuck in JAX becaus of what neonpink mentions is going on at home. My flight that was supposed to leave JAX at 5pm today started getting delayed at 8am today. The delays progressed by 30 minute increments until it was finally cancelled at 2pm.

I want to be in my own bed right now.
