We're supposed to have DD1 & DD3's joint family bday party on Saturday evening (as mentioned in previous post about the room switch!). DD1 got sick today (Wednesday) at school and just threw up again. The school suspects it's a virus that's been going around and luckily doesn't last long.
I am fine with colds, etc, but I'm really careful about stomach bugs (as a guest and a host).
Would you cancel/postpone the party now? Or wait until tomorrow/Friday first to see if anyone else gets sick?
It was really hard to find a date but we do have one more that would kind of work for most but not all of the people.

Yes. If I was attending a party and a child in the hosting family had the stomach bug on Wed., I would not want to attend a party hosted by them on Sat. I'd figure that at least one more person in your family is going to get the bug too unfortunately, but I hope they don't!
Cancel. Usually I’d say wait and see but not this year. There is something really nasty going around. My kids got sick over Christmas and were pretty much out of commission for 10 days.
What a bummer. You could try going to a place last minute (if you can find something) assuming no one else got sick of course. And that she was vomit free for 48 hours or so. Otherwise I would cancel.
