Anyone try Advocare?

I know, it's an MLM scheme but I decided to try the 10 day herbal cleanse.  Arriving Friday so I plan to start this weekend.  I really just want to kick start the weight loss and thought by paying for it, it will keep me from cheating.  haha

Anyway, I ordered through a friend who gets 40% off and am not doing the shakes. Just the Cleanse, and I added in the Omega Plex and Catalyst. Oh and I got a 14 pack (I think) of Spark to replace my morning coffee. Kind of nerous about trying that but I need something to avoid headaches.   

Anyone have success?   I will not be doing the Max Phase because I don't like replacing meals with shakes.  My plan is to stick with the diet and exercise after the 10 days. I really hope to just lose 5 lbs or so through the cleanse so it motivates me to keep going.

I have not, but I have done a cleanse before and I'd say I'd usually lose close to 5 pounds or so doing it (you're also supposed to avoid certain things while doing the cleanse, like sugar, alcohol, etc., which likely contributed to the weight loss).

I haven't done one in years, but I always felt that it sort of gave me a jump-start to losing a bit of weight, and then I'd try to eat less/move more to try to keep it off. I've been relatively successful in the past, I should probably do it again - lol.

Yes, which will also help me kick start healthy eating habits. If I can stop eating sweets I don't crave them but as soon as I have something I crave more.

The bag of Chewy Jolly Ranchers Fruity Sours sitting in my pantry, however, does not. To really be good, I'd have to clear my house of treats, but I just can't bring myself to do it - waaayyy too addicted.

a cleanse sounds fancy, but all it does is flush water out of your body. you'll lose a few pounds. Of water.
