It's nice because it rolls up to easily fit in my back pocket. I plan to take a dry erase marker in case I feel the need to change it up throughout the day (you know, in case Agent Orange tweets out nonsense during the day.)
"Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you've got a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies-"God damn it, you've got to be kind.”

We're not having a March this year. The organizers decided to do an indoor event requiring tickets instead. Technically you can get them for free but it's really hard to figure out how on the site. However, very easy to figure out how to purchase the $100 or $20 tickets.
I think it's such bullshit I'm almost glad we're supposed to have a terrible snowstorm on Sunday.

I'm super bummed there isn't a march here this year - we had just gotten back from NYC and didn't go last year so I was looking forward to it.

I am putting some stats for the percentage of the House, Senate, city mayors, etc. that are held by women and then at the bottom: We need to elect more women.
On the back side, I am going to put something about going to vote with the dates of our state primary and the general election.

It's our regional Girl Scout cookie rally and my daughter was dying to go, so I'm going there I am wearing my "A Woman's Place is in the Resistance" shirt, though.
This march still annoys me because I am sure a huge percentage of marchers from last year still haven’t actually done anything productive.
This is going to make me sound petty but I’m not going mostly because I’m bitter at how damn much I’ve done this year when it feels like people around me have contributed nothing but armchair critique. I’m going to treat myself to a nap instead.

This! We are holding a rally instead of a march. So many people are furious there is no march. I just read their posts thinking that I haven't seen them at any of the campaign events, voter drives, or anything! I know a dozen local campaigns that need volunteers. How about you march out to knock on doors instead, mmmk?

Yeah I agree. There are about 300 people listed as going on our march FB event. I do recognize a handful of names from campaign season last year and other events but most of them, no. There will be people doing voter registration here and some local women candidates for the upcoming election speaking, so maybe this will convince some of them to get out and do something this year. Maybe my optimism is really naivety. We shall see.
