I'm excited for the weekend. Mostly I am excited to have (grownup/big kid) people around.
High point: I ran a bit of my walk yesterday. I am feeling pretty normal again. I will run a bit more of it today to make sure that goes ok. I think I will be running again in a few days.
High Point: I'm going to get purple ombre hair this afternoon (!!)
Weekend workout: Ugh, the past 3 days I haven't been able to get shit done for workouts. Yesterday I walked to the gym, walked in, and then just walked out. I'm not sure if it's lack of sleep, lack of mental motivation, or this keto diet. It's probably all 3. The keto hasn't been a problem so far, but I was significantly under calories the last couple of days, so that's probably affecting me.
Anyway, I want to get all my calories today, get some SLEEP and then run and lift this weekend, plus a couple of yoga classes.

High point: I realized at my Wednesday group track run that I'm actually getting faster. Next week, the coach wants me to move up to the next group/level.
Weekend Workout: It's supposed to hit 50 tomorrow, so tomorrow afternoon I'm hoping to get in 9 miles. If I can do that, then I will feel confident to actually sign up for the half in March that I've been training for.
What was the high point of your week? I kicked my coach's ass in a workout. He's really competetive and a shit talker so it was awesome to beat him (again).
What workout are you going to kick ass at this weekend? The kind of workout that involves rest.
High point: finally getting a couple warm days to enjoy on our last days in Florida.
Weekend plan: recover from jet lag. I may get a run in depending on the weather, but for now I'm between training cycles and just running when I feel like it. Ha
What was the high point of your week? I really enjoyed my swim lesson. It's nice to be making progress and have a path towards improving my swim.
What workout are you going to kick ass at this weekend? I did my long run this morning but I'm going skiing tomorrow. It's been like 10 years since I last went. I'm hoping I do ok and don't break anything.
I may hit up the pool at the resort for an easy swim Sunday morning. They have an Olympic sized pool so I feel like I should take advantage of it.
High point: Besides it breaking 30 degrees @dd1 got an award for academic excellence. Only 5 kids in her grade got it. She works so hard!
This weekend I have a prediction race. 10 hilly miles sans Garmin. I didn’t back off my mileage, so I’m treating it as a tough workout vs. a race. IIRC it’s about 1k elevation gain in 10 miles. I hope I’m remembering incorrectly, b/c that is a lot 😂
The high point of my week was two nights in a row sleeping almost 7 hours (broken up).
Weekend workout plan: I start the whole life challenge tomorrow which requires 10 minutes of exercise a day. There was once a time I would scoff at 10 minute workouts, but now I am happy if I get in anything. I am looking forward to being "forced" to do even just ten minutes. I think it is just the push I need.
High point of my week was being pleasantly surprised at my annual performance review yesterday.
Weekend workout- meeting up tomorrow with a running buddy/former coworker I haven't seen in forever to run at our favorite park. And bonus- temps should be out of the arctic zone!
High point: actually getting my ass up to run early yesterday. I hadn't run outside in almost two weeks, and hadn't run before dawn in probably three weeks or more.
Weekend: early ass trail run tomorrow. Pray for me and my klutzy ass.
Today is the birthday of one of my favorite dance instructor. Class was turnt because we were all amped up. The energy in the room was electric. I threw out all sorts of tricks like triple turns and layouts.

I'm stoked for rowing tomorrow. It will be my 3rd session this week. I'm sure Advanced Jazz, on Sunday, won't disappoint either!
Highlight: I kicked ass on my interval run on Wednesday—the only time I could sneak it in was after teaching 2 spin classes.
Weekend: I have a long run tomorrow. I think I can get it done in under 4 hours. This is the only time I get really jealous of fast people—long runs are such an extra time suck if you are slow.
I went to orangetheory today and discovered I brought two left shoes. So I just did the workout in them and now have a big blister on my right heel. I still managed to get over 3 miles in them, so that’s a win I think! I may skip my planned run tomorrow and just go to my yoga class Sunday.

High point: got all my workouts in and dropped three minutes from my mile run in the last few months.
Weekend workout- first outside long run in awhile tomorrow. Going to see where I’m at and if I can maybe eek out a half in March. Has anyone done the dc RNR half?

High: I ran 6 miles this week (3 miles twice). It's the first time I've run this year. Between negative Temps and being sick for over a week, this month has been a shit show.
Weekend: Crossfit tomorrow morning, then possibly another 3-4 mile run on Sunday. I still spend most of the runs coughing, even though I'm feeling better.

Happy birthday sassystace and bostonmichelle! And jane6672 enjoy (and post!) the purple hair. I'm going to re-do mine at the end of next month, I love it.
High point: I just really enjoyed most of my CrossFit workouts this week, we're switching up the focus a bit with my coach, and I was tired but happy
Weekend workout: reeeeest. My hip has been bugging me for the past week, totally a result of tight muscles, so resting was a good choice. It's much happier today.
