PCS Question(s)

H is Army and this will be our first PCS. H is doing an unaccompied tour, so how does it work for the family staying stateside?

He doesn't have a follow on(pending reenlisting) and I'm planning to move home; just trying to figure out what to do with our household goods if I will be paying to move myself home.

Anyone know who H or I should contact for definite answers of what options are available to us?

I would talk to the transportation office. They should be able to help you figure out who pays for what, how much, and when. Your H should have a briefing that will go over that stuff and he can ask questions too. I went to H’s first travel briefing too bc I had no idea what I was doing and it helped to have someone walk us through it.
