justcheckingin73 - plus one to the travel beat down! And it goes both ways - other people who ball drop — for BIL’s engagement party one of the moms was supposed to bring DD home from an activity. She forgot to tell her DH, and she was OOT and I didn’t know it. Her DH didn’t take their daughter to the activity so no one picked up DD. So we got a call that DD was still there and had to break every speed limit to get to her.
I have thankfully never forgotten some one else’s child but it could happen!

Oh my gosh. I would be totally annoyed but I would also understand. Trying to coordinate things while traveling is intense. I’m glad I’ve never forgotten mine or anyone else’s kid...yet.
justcheckingin73 - the annoying thing for me is that she left town the afternoon of the activity and we had made the plans a week previous and I confirmed with her that morning (when she was in town). She just didn’t tell her DH - it wasn’t a work day, so I have filed her under flaky people.
