I know it's a cliche for Dutchies to complain about the weather, but honestly, what's up with this.
I'm starting to actually, physically get depressed. It's just dark and grey and dreary every single day. When it's 'nice' out, it still means I need long sleeves and a coat, it just means the grey clouds are away for about 10 minutes. We had hail on Wednesday - oh and on Monday too.
This is supposed to be the nicest part/season of the year here. Last year the summer sucked major ass, but by this time of year I'd gotten sunburnt at least 4 times already. While burns suck, the fact that the weather is nice enough for me to get burnt (and that truly doesn't take much) makes a huge difference.
I always thought the whole daylight lamp against depression was a whole lot of bullshit, but I'm starting to think I should buy one.
In normal years the first day basically suddenly all women wear skirts and bare legs to work is between April 14th and 18th. It still hasn't happened this year.
If this goes on much longer, I think I'll either become an alcoholic or need to check myself into a facility - possibly both :drink:  :drink:  .
So how's the weather in your parts. does it suck as bad as ours???
I'm sorry. Being from Seattle I totally feel your pain.
Right now in Frankfurt the weather has been much better than I expected. Quite a bit of sun, not too cold, and not too much rain or too overcast. We will see how I'm feeling about it next year after spending a winter here. I fear I'm back in the same climate as Seattle more or less which is just not pretty.
