Ugh, longest 5 days of my life! But, G is home now and well on his way to recovery. This flu season is no joke, and RSV only made it worse. To top it off, both J and I have RSV as well (great), so we're feeling less than 100%, but hopefully we'll be on the mend quickly too!
THANK GOD! I loved the picture you posted on IG yesterday, he is such a sweetie!
Good luck with finalization! Take pictures! Oh, I am already getting goosebumps lol.
Also, can you talk about the RSV? one of my good friends here just had her 6 month old admitted for it as well. Sage has been coughing like crazy for a week with a low grade fever and a runny nose. Can only sleep with his head elevated otherwise he will cough non-stop. He saw his doctor on Tuesday and his oxygen levels were low at first but got up to 100. They did not give him his vaccines because of his symptoms but did not seem otherwise concerned, but I can't stop thinking about it.

So glad you are home!
shauni27 , E had some weird cold thing before Christmas so I took her in and asked specifically what I needed to look for since we need to be extra vigilant about RSV. He told me that any difficulty/disinterest drinking bottles and/or labored breathing (e.g. retractions) should be called in.
Definitely call if you have concerns - they will be able to tell you what to look for.
thoseareradishes, thank you! I was aware of those two things and so far he still likes his bottles and his chest and stomach are normal when he breaths and coughs. thank god!

shauni27, most kids get RSV at some point, it doesn’t always require hospitalization (only more extreme cases). If his O2 levels were ok, I’d say he’s fine. Keep an eye on him for wheezing but otherwise, if the doctor’s office isn’t worried I wouldn’t stress it.
