Shouldnt the board be private?

Or else what's the point? People can still sign up as ae's. On my home board, you have to get approved before posting. I know there was talk of IP addresses, but do we even have a moderator?

Yes they can, but there are 5 gazillion moderators and admins on this board that can and will ban.

I don't remember where it was discussed, but I think the point of coming here is that the mods are more accessible, IPs are trackable (and ban-able, if that's not a word, it is now), and while it's ugly, it does have some nice features TB lacks. Like TWO actual eye rolling smilies!

Sorry I was having a dead horse moment. I think what makes it different is that IPs can be banned. I wasn't trying to be a raging bitch

Fair enough. I wasn't trying to beat a dead horse, either. It's just hard to keep up withe 2 boards and stupid work getting in the way. I posted instructions on getting an avatar in Ernie's thread. Hopefully that works for you.
