I for one think they should give him a state funeral (1485 style, natch) and bury him next to Queen Anne. Then again, I'm pro-Richard the III (history has him all wrong! Shakespeare was a pawn of the Tudors ;D) and wouldn't be footing the bill
I really want to re-read the Sunne in Splendour now.
Even if you're pro Richard III, don't you have to admit that he pretty much usurped the throne? Like anyone really bought the whole "Edward IV was a bigamist" argument.
ETA: Oh, but yeah it's badass that they think they found him!

Yea, the whole princes in the tower thing was shady for sure. Not sure I really believe that he directly killed them though. He was by many accounts a devoted father and husband- I have a hard time believing that he gave the orders to have his brothers children put to death.

Daria I'm with you, I think he was smarter than to have them murdered while under his care. I tend to think someone else did it knowing he'd be blamed.
He might not have murdered the princes but he definitely had their uncle and half brother executed right? That's pretty shady.
If you like Richard III and historical fiction you might like Philippa Gregory's newest novel which is about Anne Neville. It portays them in a pretty sympathetic light.

That one is on my bookshelf, behind about 6 other books waiting to be read, lol.
