Last week was great! My goal was 18-20 miles and I ran 24.1 miles!
This week is supposed to be an easy week. My goal was 15 miles but I am not sure I will reach it. I was supposed to run today but have zero motivation after a second night of minimal sleep.
And, it’s National frozen yogurt day so we are going to our favorite place after naps...they are offering 5 free oz so might as well go!

Finally getting a chance to breathe and check in. As usual, workouts have been good. Eating has been "ehh." A friend spent yesterday trying to convince me to try the whole "if it fits your macros/macro tracking" thing, so I got on an online calculator last night and figured out what my numbers might look like. 8hours into tracking and I'm already thinking "wow, where is also my fat going and how will I get more protein?" I guess maybe that could be why it works? You aren't sucking up all your calories on iced coffee and Belvita bars like my normal MO. Haha!
2.7 mile run today before having to do preschool drop off. Proud of myself for pushing to get it done early! Likely would not have happened otherwise! Also, I did the same route as last Weds and went 1 mom faster!! Now if only I could make decent eating choices...
I just got home from the store, where I totally caved and bought a bunch of candy. AF is due on Saturday and H is going to be working all weekend and I'm apparently pre-planning the wallowing session I'm going to have, since I'll be home alone and sad and not pregnant.
I also still haven't done any yoga, even though I told myself that this was the week I was going to get back into my daily routine.
I'm on day 3 of yoga with Adrienne's 30 day challenge. I'm not worried about getting it done in 30 days, just getting it done period. I've done the last three days in a row though! I think it's helping my anxiety a little. That's my biggest concern right now is getting that in check.
suzv- this flu season is crazy. It definitely has me anxious. C was sick earlier this week (still has a cough) where he was having breathing trouble, which he always get when sick (I think he has asthma too, just not as bad as L...and since we switched doctors it hasn’t been addressed). Anyways, I called the pediatrician just in case which I would not have done last year. And of course worried about L even though he seems to be doing very well (he has a cold but his inhaler meds have been awesome every time he gets sick now). I have even had fears of not only getting the flu but one of us dying from it because that’s all that’s on the news/FB every day. Anyways, I hope you guys survive what’s left of fly/cold season. I know J has had his share of being sick lately and it’s so hard on both you guys when he isn’t feeling well.

I took some "me" time on Saturday since DH was home. I had to get work done so I couldn't do anything super fun, but on the way into the office I stopped at Dunkin for an iced coffee and bagel. It was nice to have a few hours to myself.
I'm trying to eat better and finally getting a little bit on track this week, we have a lot more veggies in the house than we have in a while (mainly because I haven't been feeling like them at all).
We're weighing in on Fridays for our family weight loss challenge and according to those numbers, last week was better than this week. Maybe I've been eating more? I've done more yoga, but I'm still only getting on the treadmill once a week. I have not been meal planning and nachos are far too easy to make.
Hugs katespade, that was me this past week. And as a result of my wallowing in food over getting my period, I gained the 3 pounds I lost earlier in the month back.
I need to get back on track. And there's double stuffs and the remains of a party size bag of m&ms in the house.

Ran 5 miles yesterday but nothing today (I blame L) so I didn’t reach my goal this week. That’s ok- it was supposed to be an easy week anyways. Hoping I can get back to a decent week this week but it might be challenging between two sick kiddos and colder weather.
I did yoga the last 6 days in a row. Feel awesome about that. Skipping today. Didn't get to it earlier before we went to the IL's and didn't feel up to it after getting G to bed. It's been a long day!
